Only thing I remember good about Crossville is the old 1/4 mile drag strip.

They used to. I've been gone from Tennessee for awhile.

I used to go a lot when I was younger. Michigan has some nice tracks. And I went to the GatorNationals many times. Went 4 years in a row from age 18-21, hanging out with Lahaie and company. Miss the tracks.

I might have to go sometime, see if there is some good racing.

Used to be some good small 1/4 mile tracks in Tennessee. A lot of them are probably gone. I used to run at the Maryville track back during the muscle car days. I lived in Connecticut in the 70's and went to the CT Dragway every weekend. Jungle Jim was one of my favorites back then.

Posted this in the Random thread last night. My Oldest Brother is a half brother. Him and his mom and stepdad used to have two cars back in the late 60s, and into the 70s and 80s. This 69 camaro was their ProStock and they had a Malibu ET bracket car also. They hung with Dick Lahaie, and owned a shop 2 doors down from him back home. Bunch of good dudes racing cars. It was awesome.
His mom and stepdad used to pull up in front of the house with that car on the trailer, to pick my brothers up for the weekend. Thats when I fell in love with the camaro!!!! Great times!!!
