What would be an acceptable loss (if any) against Ga? Not saying we are going to lose, but the boys are going to have to be on their game. Bray is going to have to step up and get a quality win. This may be the game to do it. GO VOLLS!!!!

Acceptable no. Probable yes.

I would say what GA does to us is nothing compared to the next 4 games as a whole. I do not know any reasonable person that thinks we have a legitimate shot. Anyone saying so is just a fan and not a realist.

It depends on how you play during the game. A one point loss one the road, in a hostile environment where you dominate the stat sheets could be considered acceptable. A 50-0 blowout would not be.

It is sad that this program has come to this. Acceptable losses and moral victories.

Some on here sound like Candy fans to be honest. We if we almost beat them, if we only lose by 3, etc....

Makes me ill to think how far we have fallen. Dooley and Co have definitely taken the Vols down the road less traveled.

No loss is acceptable but if we compete and play well between the hedges against a very talented Georgia team I'm not going to throw the season away.

Dooley losing his job is an acceptable loss.

No loss is acceptable. Expected maybe, but not acceptable. Anytime you are the underdog you are expected to lose, but you go and play to win, and do it for 4 quarters.

We have what I would call a "punchers chance". We have the fire power to put up points, and if UGA doesn't come to play we have the weapons to knock them out, so to speak. I wouldn't predict a UT win, but its not implausible. We will have to play our bet game this year to even have a shot though.

I think less people measure a loss as acceptable or not and more so they measure the collateral damage to the season and team. Meaning if you barely lose (and not like a LSU or Bama scenario) by say a FG your team may grow from that, hence some might qualify it "acceptable" as a loss can be. The flip side would be quitting midway into a season from a demoralizing "unacceptable" blowout. IMO this fan base is as fragile as the team and is holding onto any neutral takeaways it can.

IMO there are no acceptable losses in year three. Yea I know it was a mess and we have progressed, but we have enough talent to win if they're coached right

Why not be a realistic fan and know you can't win every single game. Never settle for less than a win but if the team leaves their heart on the field and comes up short that is not something to be upset about.

No. Such. Thing.

Nobody can win them all, but no loss should be acceptable.

Even at our worst, I hope for a win deep down.
