And the Nebraska program is down to our level now. Was a big mistake for them. So you want to swap AL for Clemson and think we fair any better. Best move is to stay in SEC and just get Bama off our schedule as an every season opponent.

Sadly, Nebraska won like 20 more games in the past decade than we did. We flatter ourselves without warrant to think we are on their level.

I always bring up the sec to the buckeye fans up here and it instantly drives them nuts!😂 They can't stand always coming up short to the sec lol. That and i always make fun of the big 10.

Yeah Bo Pelini won 9 games in a row for 3 or 4 years before they fired him. Meanwhile Precious and Sgt Carter were struggling to win 5.....

How would you feel if the Vols left the SEC and joined the ACC? It will never happen probaly but hear me out here. This would be a good move for Tennessee at this point in time we haven’t been competitive in football in league play in more than a decade so by joining the ACC our football team would instantly improve. Our basketball teams and baseball teams would make a smooth transition no doubt since we are more of a basketball and now a baseball school right now. Our geological footprint also fits in the ACC I mean better than Boston College does and Mizzou does in the SEC. I can think of four to five instant rivalry games from the moment we joined with VA, Va. Tech and North Carolina and Georgia Tech. And last but not least it would help recruiting tremendously by getting out of the SEC. Nebraska left the Big 12 and left alot of history and old rivalries behind so we could certainly tell the SEC to efff off and leave . We all know crooked Bama runs the league anyway just look where the SEC offices are located at lol.
These posts are not thought-provoking or original. They are sad and cringey. Either you are trying too hard to be a troll or are just a person with a strong loser-mentality. Either way do less

Considering that our football program has spent most of the last 15 years in the dumpster and can barely compete with the middle tier teams of the SEC now. I think these are legitimate questions and discussions to be having.

It's an interesting question because believe it or not, athletics is more than just football. The ACC schools in general have a much more well-rounded athletic program, for example the ACC school that I currently work at has a number of sports programs that typical SEC schools don't even offer. Sports like lacrosse (M&W), men's soccer, squash, field hockey, wrestling, etc. My son is a soccer player and I would absolutely love for him to go to UT but it's not even an option. I think Kentucky is the only SEC school to offer a men's team. This isn't a Title IX issue either.

Like I said, it's an interesting question but I don't see it ever happening.

stfu, op. Just stfu, and take your bama-loving ass to another board.
He's just another troll you watch who responds in favor of his crap and who likes his posts and the others that agree with him so you know who the weak ones are. It actually works to my favor on who to take serious and who not to.

Anyone that thinks we should leave the SEC or stop playing Bama every year because "it's just not fair", can kick rocks. They have nothing worth taking seriously. Their threads provide comical entertainment.

Does anybody see this thing getting any better anytime soon I mean seriously? I wanna like Heupel and give him a chance to turn it around but does anybody really think he will? We have been down this road so many times before now to get false hope then get burned at the altar.

Times, they be a changing.....
Nobody knows how long college football as we know it will last.
IMHO at some point a NFL farm system will drain the truly talented players, leaving college football at the level of intermural flag football.
There is simply too much TV money that goes into the universities and not into the pockets of the 1 percenters. NFL franchises are worth billions of dollars. How much would a farm team that played on national TV every week at Bryant-Denny be worth??
