BUT…. It helps eliminate stacking up bias on reviewable calls on top of those non-reviewable calls. Also think it is POSSIBLE that the public review process might create more equity on both type calls due to BIG BROTHER watching and them knowing it.All that does is make sure the refs can only sway the game the way they want by calling/not calling penalties that are not reviewable. Case in point, the no call on the obvious Florida State pass interference on the Virginia WR toward the end of the game.
I like it. It takes away the announcers - who often generally only know a moderate amount about officiating - trying to guess what the review’s result will be and the fans then immediately presuming that as the proper result only to get upset those times when it’s not.I personally don't like it, feel it takes away from the suspense.
They just need to make football like golf where the fans watching on TV can call up and report penalties to the officials.BUT….
