Yes, our reason for this is that we are attempting to recruit student athletes who are not particularly good in the classroom. Come on man…you can do better than this. It’s like you didn’t even really have your heart into this troll attempt. Work up something else and bring it back in a couple of days.

I'm asking what excuse the "true fans" have for this. Up until this point, one of your main arguments was that Dooley is recruiting high character individuals. Now i know the two are not the same, but i have always been under the impression that high character individuals do better in school than thugs. So as i asked before, what's the excuse for this one? Youth? Injuries? were they too injured to get to class on a regular basis?

I don't have an excuse. However, I know many high character individuals who are not particularly good with the books. I think that is where you are missing it.

Knock knock knock on wood....have you noticed the lack of police reports?

Actually, if you refer back to my original post, i used the word reason as well as the reason excuse. The question was hardly troll-like.

At this point, I'm going to ask the question the way i wanted to originally. I just wasted time in my life on this crap when all i wanted was a simple question answered.

so now we have guys that can't perform in the classroom, but it's okay because they aren't getting in trouble? While i agree that it's probably better for society to fail in school rather than starting trouble and getting thrown in jail, they both reflect negatively on our program and inhibit it's success.

Which just goes to show that the new opinion on VN is that if you aren't a posivol and don't support Dooley with all your heart, you are automatically a troll. I'd go into why i think this new opinion came along, but i think I would break too many rules in doing so. So i digress. :hi:

So, high character = high intelligence? Good Lord man, come on. I know some people of the highest moral character that aren't very bright. I also know some certified geniuses who don't have the moral compass to make rational decisions.

The excuse is this: they are not the smartest students on campus. It has nothing to do with their character, unless they are stupid because of daily pot use.

I would prefer to have thugs that win football games than high character guys that lose games and don't perform in the classroom. Hopefully they can turn it around, though.

And this one isn't on Dooley? I'm sorry, but i wasn't aware that properly directing blame at the person responsible was considered trolling these days. I expected minimum disruption for this post because as the OPs have admitted, there is no excuse for this one. The discussion could have ended there, but you all insist on continuing into discussions about how i am a troll and negavol, like always.

I saw no excuse for it, so i figured i would ask the people of VN, who have lately seemed to be the kings of finding excuses for nearly everything. I assumed they had come up with something, but for the first time, they hadn't.
