Cam Sutton has more interceptions on passes 10 yards or deeper than the man he is covering has receptions.

I can't verify this stat, but I have reviewed the games and I think it is accurate. Just insane if it is.

Cam Sutton should be a 1st team All American this season. He won't be. He may not even be honorable mention after 3 total teams, but next year the country will know.

Need to win games for players to get recognized.

Basically, the Offensive Line is the reason Cam Sutton won't have as many post season accolades as he should.

Cam Sutton doesn't get enough praise. Maybe after this year he will. Anaylysts are all over VH3, which they should be, he's a great player. I would take Cam over VH3 any day though.

Only because VH3 was highly touted coming out of HS and Sutton was a 3 star. Sutton has been at least equally as good as VH3 (for reference, both had a pick last week)

I bet opposing ocs know all about cam Sutton. This guy is as fluid of a cover man as I can remember. He just smothers whoever he is covering and immediately is able to recognize when the ball is in the air and gets his head turned around every time. That's rare in college... Especially considering that face guarding is allowed in college. That's a 3* recruit by the way for all the star gazers there. If the services rerated the kids after watching them play in college for a year or so he'd be a five *

He got lucky on only one play against UF where he was beat but Driskel under threw it badly. Otherwise he was wearing recievers like a coat.

He and JRM have both played lights out. Not to overlook anyone else's play, but those two have stood out playing on multiple units, not just defense. AJ as well.

You do remember that Paul Horning won the Heisman and his Notre Dame team won only 5 games that season?

Rare, but it can be done

The ball being under thrown definitely helped, but he still had to make a very athletic play to break-up the pass. Not very many other players would have been able to save it.

From the stands it looked like more of a mental lapse but he did know he got beat. Showed ridiculous recovery though. He has no weakness in his game it seems.

No way is this not true!!!

It feels so true in my gut that I feel no need to verify.

Speed is what allows you to get beat and still succeed. Also, horns should not have won so bad example. A guy names Majors deserved it.

ND actually only went 2-8 in 1956, which makes Majors finishing 2nd in the Heisman that much worse. The Vols ended that regular season ranked 2nd in the polls.
