#### #1 seed or the third best team in the SEC? We still dont know, but with LSU"s best player out- this should have been a victory. This team is easy to like, but this a sweet 16 team , not enough talent for the elusive ( for us) final four. They have lost their mojo and are making errors they didnt make early in the year. Lot of tough games left and might still salvage a 1 or 2 seed if they win out. Must beat Ky and Auburn and Miss State which wont be easy. Williams is too smart to make that foul- but he did it anyway. We lost on the road in overtime to a great team. Yes, we probably lost any chance of winning the SEC championship outright with the loss today, but there's still a lot of ball left to be played, and the SEC tournament. We could still get a one seed. Even if we don't get a 1 seed, anything can happen in the tournament. If we get a favorable draw, we could go really far.
LSUs best player played zero minutes and they still won. This wont hurt our ranking much, but this was a bad loss in terms of confidence. Since Dec we have played 2 good teams on the road and lost both games.
frustrating...we were out-officiated, out-mugged, out-played, and out-coached...Coach Wade is my new frontrunner for SEC COY...he was working the refs from the tip to the end of the game...poor Grant had the worst game I've seen him play...but, but, there's still a lot to play for...probably gotta win out to get a no. 1 seed now...and, as always...
GO VOLS!
I took the guy as talking about the regular season, LSU has A&M, Bama, Florida and Vandy left, it's very feasible that they win those 4 games, which would give them at least a share of the SEC title. We still have to play Kentucky again, though I think we've got a lot better shot at them at home.Did you read the comment I quoted?
