I'm willing to bet every dime I have if cjh was fired today ,not one person on this thread nor one person that has ever read a thread on here will get a call for head ball coach interview.He knows he messed up .We don't need to try to beat him up over every thing we think is bad .At the end of the day we are in much better hands than we have been in years ..We are on the return to be wide receiver U again

i though on the last play when they were backed up.....we should've short quick pass to the side closest to the sideline, got out of bounds/ timeout and gave gilbert a chance.

So what....call a TO to save half a sec so the defense can have time to communicate better? You're mad at the wrong guy. If anybody botched that drive it was Aguilar. That was one of Heupel's better called games.

I’m in agreement with you. But I think bringing up something that is a repeated issue is fair game. Not that anyone should be beating him up over it, but it’s fair to say “hey this is an issue”. I think Heupel knows the score and will adjust - he’s done that several times since he got here and that’s all we can ask for as fans.

Wouldn’t trade him for anyone at this point. He’s brought us back to respectability and in contention very quickly.

Ramey claims we should have called a timeout after the first down run and stated the didn’t snap the ball until the clock went from 13 to 9 seconds. Completely wrong.

The clocked stopped at 13 for the first. We snapped the ball at 12.

See I’m being realistic. You’re not. We in no way, shape, or form competed for a natty last year. OSU showed us that we are still light years away from that top let’s call it 1-4 teams.

I was all in on a bigger playoff picture. After last year I was wrong. There is no need for 12 teams, sure as heck not 16. The talent gap between that 1-4 and 12-16 most years is just going to be a silly ball game. Will we see occasional upsets? I’m sure. But for the most part the expansion has already went to far. “National championship playoffs”. lol

OSU was far and away better than everyone else, not just us. If we would have been seeded properly, we could have made the championship game. Still, making the playoffs is competing for a championship. I have no idea if Heupel will get us a natty, but the manner he's going about it is pretty damn impressive. Finishing in the top 5 in his second year was unthinkable at the time.

Has anyone seen an explanation from CJH about the clock management on the last drive of regulation? Any reporters ask or callers on his show? I am interested in hearing his thoughts
