I have witnessed per wee teams play better football than what I witnessed tonight and I have been here 45 years through Sunseri through Dooley Through Kiffin Throgh all of them. I’ve seen plenty of worse football teams from this program in the last 20 years. This is a drop in the hat. You seem to forget the beat downs Bama have us under Butch, Dooley, and Pruitt.

Yes i was partying in the french quarter in 85 when the Vols actually played football and took down Testaverde and the cains. I saw the gafney catch / no catch i saw the debacle on the foot line ar Georgia setting up that beat down. This iteration on what is going on is not football. Its not being played the way the game position by position is supposed tk be played. Its a version if football, but so far from the actual text book football it isnt really football and you can see the end result of that in front of you. The DB play is the glaring example of what im talking about anyone can get out there in a uniform and run around -which is really what they do cause they don’t actually use any technique that DBs use for success at their position hence causing game ending penalties as you see. Its all not teally football. Its 11 dudes in a uniform running around on a green field and the result is what you see. Thats my take. Maybe in 45 more years you will see as i do.

You’re exactly right. Which makes it worse. We lost then bc we were awful. Now that isn’t the case. Bama isn’t better than us. Last night was one of the worst games I can remember watching in terms of coaching and play all around.
