Absolute Clarity On DR

NyQuil and similar drugs are legal and available OTC. When these types of drugs were taken to market and introduced to society did the number of intoxicated drivers increase? Not to mention the amount of narcotics available via prescription drugs that shadow marijuana's potency.

Just curious.

In my experience, people whose goal is to justify their own continued excuse grasp and claw at myths to do so.

And FYI, eating too much honey causes excessive bowel movement. Good reason to kill all bees. Drinking too much water can literally kill, something to do with upsetting the electrolytes in the body. Good reason to drink Pee Cola if you prefer that. The sun causes cancer. Good reason to avoid exercise outdoors. People drown in pools, rivers and lakes. Drain all bodies of water so more people can land sail. It's easy to find an excuse to continue doing almost anything just because you prefer to do it.

In my experience, people whose goal is to justify their own continued "misbehavior" grasp and claw at excuse to do so.

plars said it right. he is acedimically ineligable..while also failing a drug test..so how long does it take to get grades back up?

Jeff

It may be the failed test that got this started, however, I still believe there are other issues that lead to the indefinite suspension. Therefore the statement that it isn't pot could still be mostly correct.

Yeah. When you fail the test twice and the head coach said... "Hey, I'm tired of screwing around with you. One more failed test and you're done." And he smokes again... Yeah, there are other things involved. Like him basically daring the coach to keep his word. DR is simply an F-in dumba$$!

If they do a split specimen using a lab he can ask that the second specimen is tested. I have never seen a second specimen overturn the results of the first.

Yea, that's the most common process.

The window to to be eligible this season is closed unless he can get a grade changed..... assuming, of course, it is a grade problem.

I just don't understand how academics could be an issue. CDD said this was based on "recent events", and didn't summer classes end a while ago?

Just doesn't make a whole lot of sense - if DR was in academic jeopardy, wouldn't that have been news before now? I never heard anything about his grades being a major concern, but maybe I missed something.
