Absolute Clarity On DR

Yeah, I totally stand behind my statement. He won't make any F-in All America Teams, No SEC First, Second or Third, he won't make any first downs or touchdowns or anything. Remember, a car with a great paint job, stereo system, etc., ain't worth sh-t w/o an engine.

He's not playing this year. So he's actually not average. And he's a cancer on this team. So, if you lump all the stuff that you lump together when you eval somebody, he's average. Well below average.

This makes no sense. By your (faulty) logic, no team ever loses a good player to discipline issues.

Nice try, but you still look foolish.

So...

This is about pot
No this is about agents.
No this is actually about pot too many times, but this one time there was a suspicious phone call that sounded like agents.
Pot should be legalized because alcohol is legal.
Pot will cause more fatal crashes than alcohol because ABC CNN and gov't funded foundations say so.
People are still going to vote for a half white halt black Muslim for president in 2012.

Gotcha.

We forget that this time last year, we felt pretty good about our starting wr's being Hunter and DR and that was the pre-1000 yd season DR.

Looking at the rest of the offense, aside from the wr's, all of the rest of the offense is, at a minimum, no worse than it was and probably improved. Why would we not be revved up about our starting wr's being Justin Hunter and Cordarelle Patterson?

Just shows how spoiled we can become.

Another point is: How many drug tests has he failed? I assume this isn't the first. Don't you chances after one or two fails--and then if it's three times you're gone?

Rogers is a strong possession receiver--a guy you can throw to 12 times a game over the middle when you need yards, and he can take getting tackled a lot. Very valuable WR type to have--he caught, what, some 70 passes last year. Hunter is much more a down the field threat; you throw to him a lot short or over the middle and the injury factor goes up. Problem is, Patterson will need weeks to adjust to this level--and we have no other proven receivers. Please don't mention freshmen...

Obviously no one ever had the "there's no I in team" speech with DR. DR has no business on anyones team until he learns this.

Yep. Then they can tax the heck out of it and help get thE economy going again. Will help the farmers too.

Yah! More taxes!!

Also, I'd rather have the guy who actually has played a D1 snap.

Not denying CP's talent. But 10/10 you take Rogers on the field.

And how many of those does he drop because: 1) Wasn't right where he wanted it, 2) He didn't care, and 3) He was academically ineligible for the bowl anyway? Would I like to have him this year? Yes. Am I glad he is gone? Not necessarily. Can we do without him? Absolutely.

So, you just wanted to draw attention instead of actually reporting what happened?

At least that's how I take that statement.

ZJ, at least we are getting some kind of info from someone on the inside. Yes some of it may be rumor, but hey, it's more than we are going to get from CDD and a heck of a lot more than we will get next year from Hyams. Also, this isn't from one or two failed tests IMO. I think something went on last week that cost him his scholly.

PLRS, was the phone call thing the "investigation" we were hearing about yesterday?

I see no admission of being wrong.

When you says "Believe you me, it's not drugs" then doesn't post anything for eight hours, when multiple media outlets reports it's drugs, then he comes back and says it's drugs. Fishy no?

I'm not bashing him. I'm just curious as to why so confident it wasn't drugs and then it changed. That's all.

And it's a message board. It's not like incredible info that nobody knows about is being given. Again, message board. Don't be so serious.

It may be the failed test that got this started, however, I still believe there are other issues that lead to the indefinite suspension. Therefore the statement that it isn't pot could still be mostly correct.

OP was claiming absolute inside knowledge that MaryJane had nothing to do with this yesterday. TIFWIW IMO.

It gets weirder and weirder the more that comes out to us about him, too. He definitely failed a drug test but our boss came in today and told us that he is academically ineligible after being denied a grade appeal.
