Truly. It's this simple. Da'Rick's suspension could cost UT a game or two. If you want to lose an all-american, the best place to lose on is at OLB or WR, so it's not terrible in that regard.

I love how Da'Rick is all of a sudden "an average SEC wide receiver" or "above average but not great" when he's no longer on the team. Part of that "didn't want him anyway" syndrome that hits the recruiting forum when we miss on a bigtime player, I guess.

Make no mistake: Da'Rick is an excellent receiver. He had a very real shot at being the best WR in the country this year. We can still have a great year without him, but this one hurts.

The jealousy here over Palardy having legit inside info is mindblowing to me. Either take the info and appreciate or move on. What is your motivation with the bash fest, other than jealousy? Its like Palardy took your your gf away from you and you cant get over it. Seriously, why bash somebody for sharing what they know. Even if you don't believe it, why be the douche that has to drag everyone else down. If you don't like it, don't read it.

I just want to know what changed from it's not drug tests, to...drug tests.

He started a thread admitting information that was in direct conflict with what he stated earlier. He could've said nothing, but he brought what good information he had to the table for anyone who wanted to read it. His only mistake was posting earlier before he had all the facts. He admits that he assumed the suspension was in relation to the agent stuff because he had been hearing rumblings about that, a leap that many of us might have made. By coming back and clarifying the truth he did the stand-up thing. And yet, some of you guys bash him relentlessly, even making fun of him for posting updates from whatever he has seen. It screams jealousy to me. What other reason do you have for bashing the guy? Why can't you just leave it alone if you don't agree or don't appreciate? You are dragging down the process by which us fans who actually care about getting information, which we can judge ourselves whether to accept or not, get that info. Because of communication assasins like you, many may not want to bring what info they have out of fear of being unfairly attacked or mocked. It's censorship by intimidation.

I see no admission of being wrong.

When you says "Believe you me, it's not drugs" then doesn't post anything for eight hours, when multiple media outlets reports it's drugs, then he comes back and says it's drugs. Fishy no?

I'm not bashing him. I'm just curious as to why so confident it wasn't drugs and then it changed. That's all.

And it's a message board. It's not like incredible info that nobody knows about is being given. Again, message board. Don't be so serious.

I got you man, I'm just sick of everyone on here being so pissy with other UT fans.

If someone brings info, whatever the source, appreciate it, don't rake them over the coals for it.

If you disagree, state your reasons for such, but don't resort to character assasination, name calling, bashing, and mocking as some have done.

These are Vol fans that are trying to help people out.

Sometimes people forget that.

And look, there have people all the time who were "legit info" and they quite frankly weren't. Go look at the basketball forum with Shannon Hale for exhibit A.

I didn't say YOU did...i said SOME PEOPLE do...

As far as bogus info, yeah, it happens, alot. But, i'm smart enough to figure out what I want to believe and what i don't. I give others that same benefit of the doubt. I don't need to tell them what they can or can't believe. If they wanna believe that Gruden is coming next year, let em. If they wanna believe Dooley wins a NC next year, let em believe that. Its their perogative.

Who is to say that I am believable if i chime in to blow up someone's thread by saying that their info is a joke. It goes both ways.

Agreed 100%. But how many people get high and beat their wife, or plow into a car full of kids while high? I love alcohol, BUT, it's much safer of the wrongs that prevail in our society. I no longer smoke weed, but I think as far as a community goes, it's the best of the worst.
