Me, too; and Hess was new and pretty much the western end of the campus. Doug Dickey was the new coach; several losses that first year, but you could see that the wins were coming. This feels that way again.

LOL, Andy Holt was new when I moved in (or relatively so). Now it's a smoking hole and all of Presidential and Morrill will be gone in 2 years.

In 1964 lot of fraternities used the old houses between Hess and what would be the Presidential complex. If you drew a line between the Field House and Hess everything beyond appeared to be pretty much vacant houses bought by the university. I can't remember that land had even been cleared for anything new past Hess at the time.

I went walking around campus last summer. It's hard to believe all the change. You know the bridge by the old student center wasn't there back in the old days - had to walk all the way down one hill and all the way up the other one - both ways. Now really showing age, I was making a trip into the administration building (by Ayres) one day, and Andy Holt was leaving and stopped to hold the door for me.

Hopefully the fun etc. will be coming in the games, but I believe the players aren't going to be living it up this spring. A lot of hard work is coming...

The excitement for me is that anything is possible in 2018. Its possible we come out like gangbusters and win right off the bat. The talent is there. We haven't had a non top 20 class in many years...so if coaching is good as we think then who knows. There is the possibility we got an absolute steal with Pruitt. There's also a chance we suck. Ill be optimistic until Proven I shouldn't be.
