OK so Kentucky won ten Games to our seven. They also had an easier schedule.

We play Alabama as our permanent west opponent and they get Miss State. Automatic loss for us.

They also got a bad LSU team at home as the other west opponent and we get the second best team in the west in Ole Miss.

We played Florida when Florida was good at their place and KY played them at home after their downfall started.

KYs out of conference schedule was LA Monroe, Chattanooga, New Mexico State, and Louisville. We played the ACC champs in Pittsburgh.

The team they beat in the bowl game Iowa lost to Purdue by 17 points.

Kentucky beat two teams with a winning record.

We lost to both teams in the Championship game, two conference champions, five teams won 10+ games. We also had two games were highly questionable calls affected us.

And we beat Kentucky!

I agree with most other than the Florida bit. KY beating them started their downward trajectory.

I don’t disagree with some of your points, but this reeks of sour grapes. 10 wins is 10 wins. If I’m a Kentucky fan, I’m happy.

We need to go make a 10 win season of our own. And it won’t matter if Florida is in the dregs of the East when it happens.

Please post this over in the KY v Iowa thread. Wouldn't want any of our Blue visitors to miss this information.

I get it, but they still won 10 games and finished with a win over a solid team in the bowl game. They’ve beat Florida 2 out of the last 4 years I believe, something we would kill for. Isn’t this also their second 10 win season in the past 4 as well? Also, take a look at the recruiting rankings and see where Kentucky is. I’m not worried about Kentucky, but I’m not gonna try to crap on what stoops has done and is doing there. We’ll still continue to kick their a** though.

Exactly. Yes, they play a fairly weak out of conference schedule but the recruits won't know any difference. They will look at the UF and LSU wins plus the bowl victory over a top 15 team that they will market.

Thank you! This is the only honest fan that will say the truth. Kentucky fans know we aren’t at the top. We are just happy to have the success we are having and the trajectory of our program is in the right direction. We are respectable now and that’s all you can ask for. Competing every game and always having a chance. If I’m remember correctly the Kentucky Tennessee game was one of the better games this season. No defense but was exciting on the other side for both teams. Kentucky just could not stop Tennessee for nothin. Was a good game but no way someone can act like either team is not good.

Y’all just can’t stop thinking about Kentucky for some reason can y’all? Beat us this year and still know our program is in better shape.

You lost to us with a first year coach after a huge chunk of our players transferred out. We’re only going to get better, Kentucky has peaked. I know you are used to losing to Tennessee, so this next long streak coming up will feel just right for you guys 👍

I feel like in the long run, a strong Kentucky team is better for us than a weak Kentucky team. If they have a chance to beat our rivals (like Florida), or at least wear them down, all the better for us. They are equal or better than us for now. I would prefer to see us get better, not them get worse.

LOL! They played UF the week after UF played UT. Must've been a rough week of practice for the Gators.

Tennessee will always be better than Kentucky no matter how terrible shape we’re in.

Anyone who says otherwise is clueless.
Probably the opinion of a fan over the age of 40 that hangs on to what Tennessee did in the 90s. See what kids coming out of high school are thinking about these two programs
