I really do not think Tennessee football has made the turnaround that we are capable of. Therefore, after witnessing PSU outcoach us, there is no way in hell that Fulmer should get that raise that Hamilton was talking about. No way! Until we can win the big games, then no raise. As much money and effort that goes into this program, we should expect to win these types of games, and we should! Until then, no raise. We need to step up from being mediocre. Your thoughts?

My thoughts are that we've beaten this to death.

Job well done for what still falling below expectations and losing yet another bowl game get real...

Job well done for beating the hell out of Cal, coming back to beat Georgia on the road, beating Alabama, beating Spurrier, and making it to a New Year's Day Bowl Game.

and once again choking to florida (at home no less), as well not being able to put LSU away (at home no less) and another bowl loss. also let's remember how great we played the Air Force game. He got us back to where we were, which isn't a good place to be either way.

Thank you took the words right out of my mouth.
this is why we will still be a middle of the road team right here.

Not when we go on the road and defeat Cal next September, when everyone will again pick Cal. We have a Heisman-worthy player in Erik Ainge, and with one more offseason with David Cutcliffe, his ability will be even greater than his best was this season. I cannot wait to start the next season, to prove NegaVols wrong again.

The Cal game when we started out 35-0 against the ninth-ranked team was good enough. It proved months upon months of negative talk wrong.

What about finishing the season outside the top 25, which is where UT will likely be? Thats deserving of a raise?

I said earlier, that I do not believe a raise is necessary for this season. Just a job well done pat on the back by Hamilton and the rest of the boys.

Just because we want to have a Football program that we can be proud of we are negavols?????
IMO its vol fans like YOU that have gotten us in this mess in the first place. 8 win season "oh its ok coach you will get em next year" 7 win season same crap then we fall below .500 last year and low and behold we get a response from Fulmer he fires a couple of coaches and brings Cut back and we win 9 games.its a never ending circle The University of Tennessee needs a new head football coach period. Put an end to this "good ole boy" crap and get us a winner...

On another side note, this is the junk I heard last year from UT fans, except it was about Ainge. Through most of the year this year he was GOD and now here we are again.
