QD I believe is going to be something we've been waiting for for a long time! Can't wait to see this kid throw the ball all over teams this year!

Let's let him take a meaningful snap before we put the crown on his head. Same could be said for JG. We'll have a better vision for both after game 1 and hopefully they both perform so well that the dual qb situation extends another week.

At all. Dobbs averaged about 225 yards passing per game last year. That child's play for a legit big-time college qb who can really sling it.

He ran for over 800 yards, if you put rushing yards and passing yards together, he averaged almost 300 yards per game last year. If sacks weren't subtracted from his rushing totals, he would have been near 350 yards per game. I agree that if Dobbs had a fault, it was passing. However, he more than made up with that with his running. I would much rather see a TN Qb run for 7 yards than throw the ball away, because no one was open and he didn't have the ability to run!

Fully aware of Dobbs' outstanding running ability and what it meant to the offense.

But that's not what was being discussed...only the passing game. Dude said he'd make the bold prediction that QD would PASS for more yards than Dobbs did. I pointed out that it wouldn't take too much since Josh only threw for about 225 yards per game. Again, discussion was only about the passing game/yards.

He's got this year. Don't listen to the people who say he's safe with another 8-4 season. If one of those isn't Alabama, he's gone.

If Neyland averages over 100K at home paid attendance for team 121, he stays at 8-4 easy and it ain't even close.
