Aaron Hayden speaks the truth

We could have used some of Aaron's comeback magic Saturday.
Sadly I think if Hooker doesn’t get hurt then we have a very good shot at winning. If Bailey would’ve came in we probably had a 30-40% chance of winning on those final couple plays. As soon as I saw Milton I knew the game was over and we had lost. The way he ended it still managed to blow my mind. I just thought there would be 2 throws way over players heads out the back of the end zone. But he found a way to shock me even when I was ready for his ineptitude.

He reminds me of jg in regards to not having a clue during a game. At least Bailey knows what should happen. In reality we prolly need to start Milton against Bama bc he has earned that start.

What has he earned?, I have failed to see anything good he has done and has been given every chance, and Bailey has been given none

He’s earned that whooping that’s gonna come with that game. Bailey is in no position to go from #3 to starting against Bama. So if Hooker isn’t good to go then we need to chalk that game up and just let Milton go out there and get destroyed by the Bama pass rush. Then if Hookers still gonna be out for UK give those 2 weeks to Bailey to prepare and not have his confidence destroyed.

I hate to say it but yeah, we also should have him start the Georgia game. Why? It's grow up or get punished. Why risk Hooker for the rest of the season?

I think they're going to red shirt Bailey; why wouldn't they? If he's not ready now, then give him the extra year. As to Milton, I don't know if earned is the right word, but if we're going to get destroyed by Bama & Georgia then let him earn the role by playing against them, & not risk further injury to Hooker. Is that selfish--probably?

Redshirt for a different team. I honestly don’t think he stays behind this year.

As to Hayden's comments, he is right--coaches like Kiffen are going to exploit the injury rules as now there's no repercussions which essentially penalizes the team, like make the injured player ineligible to return during that possession. If they're injured that badly we don't want to risk further injury do we? Safety first. LOL. Just like Corral wanting to come back in & not miss a play; they tried to beat that rap but the officials stuck to the rule. However, if Corral had to miss the rest of a possession, or other key players, then coaches would think twice before telling players to fake injuries.

All Milton has earned is to never start again and a bus ticket back to Michigan.

I do NOT agree with Hayden. The team does not deserve any penalties! Fans are fans and we are passionate fans. Seems to me nobody except our fans are talking about the cheating Refs in this game!!!! Thats what made our fans go crazy! And I for one don't blame them. We have been going through sub par coaching for years and now we have to play against the Refs as well? The Referring is what made fans go crazy! Why are they not talking about that on the NEWS?

How about not letting the front 4/5 be substituted during an injury time out. Only let the injured be subbed.

That might help, but the main reason they fake the injuries is to buy time, and that would still occur.

For the 1000th time. Using cheating refs and what we have went through as some sort of excuse or justification for what happened is ridiculous. Adults made a choice to commit ridiculous acts. The reason they aren’t mentioning the refs is because it’s not a viable excuse.

Well, I guess when those fans you "do not blame" endanger the safety of others, which the University could face lawsuits due to the injuries that might have happened? I guess the result of the game just happens to be just a little less important.

So, if those "passionate" fans can't behave themselves? I guess they can, if they are students, be expelled and enroll in barber college. And if they are 40 year old adolescents? They can enjoy the good behavior privledge of picking up roadside trash while wearing orange vests that say INMATE on them rather than sit in a cell for a month or two. And the only people excusing it are mouth breathing morons like you.

I don't think Corral was faking. As good as he played, he also took a beating. Tough SOB.

Bailey is the 3rd string QB. He’s is stuck behind Milton. If you can’t beat out Milton for 2nd string, then we’ve got a problem.

And Bsiley’s problem isn’t Milton. It’s that he sucks worse. This isn’t a situation like Dobbs. Had Bailey been able to outplay either Hooker or Milton, he’d be playing. Bailey had the opportunity to take the #2 spot and run with it when Milton was hurt, but apparently he’s only capable of running the scrub time at 1/2 speed. He can’t run the offense at the tempo Heupel requires.

So what do we do? Fire Heupel and bring back Pruitt so Bailey can have an offense he can run?

People just need to accept that Tennessee’s days of pure pocket passers are over. That’s not to say that we don’t recruit pro style QBs, but they have to be quick enough to handle Heupel’s style of offense. Bailey isn’t and that’s why he is #3.

$100 we’ll need both Milton and Bailey vs. AL. And whoever is behind them better be getting some reps as well

Haha, that's a good one and I agree.
