What in the hell has UT football done to get such bad karma? Seriously.

It lot of it has to do with our expectations and the pressure fans/media/alumini etc put on these 18 to 22 year olds. As far as the program goes, we have done it to ourselves but we will be back and patience is key here.

If he doesn't live to be a Volunteer then let him go........ We need players who BLEED ORANGE!! This just opens the door for another player who wants to Step Up.

Mature response. Dooley has a string of events now that seem to indicate he is over his head. He might not be but ever since NSD I can't find one thing he's done well.

Guy. Did Dooley give him the meds? Did Dooley ask him to take them? Did Dooley do anything at all that you know for a fact that caused this?

What precisely about AD (supposedly) getting addicted to pain killers while playing for the last staff indicates that Dooley is in over his head?

Dooley hasn't even coached in a game and some people are already calling for his head?

get a grip people.... i would wait to hate the coach once we actually lose a game(which is gonna happen quite a few times next year... so just be patient)

gone through 3 coaches in 3 years

it's not so much a karma thing, it's more of just rebuilding gets to sh-t like this when stuff such as this happens to a team

(look at bama during the what was it 3-4 coaching changes in the Dubose-Franchione-Price-Shula era from like 2000-2005 or 2006)

Just like Bryce Brown’s “problems”. I’m not saying Douglas didn’t have problems, but to say Dooley has no blame in either situation is ignorant.

Aaron Douglas needs to take care of Aaron Douglas. This has nothing to do with football or Dooley.

To say that he is to blame is quite ignorant itself. Unless you have proof that Dooley is somehow to blame. I'll be waiting for you to present a compelling argument.

This really isn't Dooley's fault...

I understand this isn’t Dooley’s fault. This thread probably wasn’t the best place to begin railing on Dooley, I’m just saying losing two All-Americans on top of the less than stellar PR job he’s done thus far makes me feel less and less confident about Dooley and Co. every day.

Yes. So is the statement that he does unless you know of something that he did or didn't do that caused it. AD may come out and say he doesn't want to play for him... but somehow I think it is more than that.
