A poster on the Bama Scout page says the family has been notified but no official release of the news to the public (obviously).

Another poster says it is "100% accurate"

TIFWIW

it could be true or not, I don't know, but the post about 100% accurate is the posters signature, it's on all his post so that means nothing. Just thought I'd let you know.

We need something more than Basillio to really confirm it. Lovie Smith agrees with me. It will need to come from an official announcement or mainstream media release IMO.

I honestly thought about Aaron when Ainge came out with all of his stuff. I truly hoped that testimony would have turned Aaron around. I haven't heard yet whether or not his addictions were what caused this, but it's just terrible to see that this kid never turned things around. He's had a problem since high school.
Prayers with his family.

Chase Goodbread (Bama beat writer) is saying no one in the Alabama Athletic Department has confirmed anything in regards to Aaron Douglas.

Wesruscker247 Some days this job isn't very fun, and it has nothing to do with sports.

I just read that. I feel like Basilio is doing his usual "add 'confirmed' to make it look more real" schtick.

If it is indeed true, which it appears to be, it's very sad.

Absolutely terrible news. I remember playing against him head-to-head for 2 years. Crazy to think he is gone now. Prayers go out to his family and friends. RIP Aaron.
