:good!:couldn't have said it better myself being an avid golfer. Getting up and down from seemingly death is a GREAT feeling

Coming from a guy that blows the rest of the PGA away. If I played like him I would get excited about making pars too when they kept my 9 under par alive.

Remember that Vinson came to UT as a WR and got converted near the beginning of the season. He's there by default. He held his own, but still has some learning to do. For everything that Eric Berry did that looked so great tonight, he's still got a lot of learning when he comes to covering as well.

I'll admit, when it was 24-21, I gave up on them. I EXPECTED to lose. When it went to OT I STILL expected to lose. When it was 27-24 I STILL expected to lose, only when Succop shanked the game-winner did I realize we were actually going to win. I have to feel like these guys realized they stared adversity right in the face and still came out on top. Maybe now they won't give up so easily the rest of the year:clapping:

an ugly win for sure, but a win nonetheless. I still have a big problem with a defense that gave up 145 points in our 3 losses and nearly threw away this game in the second half.

I also can't believe that I don't hate Spurrier all that much anymore since he left Florida.

Based on the big foolish grin that Fulmer was sporting last night in the post game interview on the field I have to think the die is pretty much cast that he is staying, for now anyway. Even getting the win (and I do agree that a win is a win) most coaches probably would not be so outwardly elated after that type of 2nd half meltdown unless it was either the BCSCG or they just won a game that was going to guarantee another couple of million bucks. if nothing else, you don't want your team to think that was the kind of performance that you want out of them. Of course, they are probably expecting the SC game to erase the Bama game in the same manner that the UGA game erased the UF loss. Given the fickleness of many UTK fans I think it is possible that the staff will get it's wish.

At this point, I think the focus for advocates of change needs to be Mike Hamilton. If Hambone even hints at giving Phil or any other football staff any kind of extention after this season, then the president fo the univ. needs to take him out. Hamilton and Phil are not idiots and they know that next year it going to be a much tougher season. They are like the squirrels in my back yard who are now trying to hoard as many nuts and berries as they can because they know the lean times are coming.

Next year's schedule is easier
We get Florida and Bama at home, and play UCLA instead of Cal
