I'm sorry....I'll just put my rose colored glasses on and forget the second half. I just can't believe how many people are happy with such undeserving win.

We won so I guess it's all good right? They'll just practice hard this week and all will be better.

Yes, a win is a win, but if the SC qb could have hit just a few of those wide open receivers it would have been much worse.

Could've, would've should've and yet it is a W, I will take it.

Underserving? Probably so with the way they played the 2nd half. I'll give you that. But, last time I checked USC missed a FG in OT and UT won!!! A win is a win. Just like a par is a par in golf. Doesn't matter how you got there as long as you got there. A come from behind win is a first for this year and may help this team down the road. Just have to wait and see.

I don't even think we played a good first half. SC just handed us the first half by their stupid mistakes. It's a win though and we're in control for the third time this season. Maybe the third is the charm for Phil Fulmer.

Roughing the punter
Personal foul calls
Pass interference

kept us in it

I thought we had sealed our own fate, I had visions of a reversal, like we were getting our just punishment for Doing it at LSU in 05. (very similar btw) But we did something that they did not. We won.

Very true. I'll be honest, I can't stand they gave up a 3 TD lead in the 2nd half, but they played one of their worst games of the year(should have been loss #4) but still won. Maybe a turn in the ol' mo?

I AM NOT BASHING THE FOOTBALL TEAM.

From the time I played little league until now I've never been happy with a win like that. I don't want that W to give the team/coaches a sense of complacency.

Pars dont win golf tournaments. This win just loosened the noose a little bit.

I think it will give them a sense of confidence that they can win a tough game after all.

possibly. While i don't really want to keep Fulmer after the 3 blowouts, if UT somehow wins out and miracously wins the SECCG, I'll stop my fire Fulmer rants. However, with Arkansas looming, and more importantly a trip to Commonwealth in a month (i don't care what happened today, I've seen us on the road), I'm still not that secure in knowing the Vols control their own destiny.

I can't lie. Any other year in November with the Vols in the lead in the east, I would be buying tix for Atl. This year, not so much. Ark, will be an extremely tough challenge, the only thing the we have going for us is that it's in Knoxville, and we are undeafted at home.

Commonwealth is definetely a scary game to say the least and I will not feel comfortable about going to Atl until the final second of that 12th game ticks off the clock for a UT "W" and we are actually in. That being said, we're in the home stretch of the schedule and everybody and their mom said a team from the east would have 2 "L's", and UT has just that.

Hold it together for 4 more games and get to Atl and play the game of these young men's lives and win and I'll see ya'll in New Orleans!!!

It was definately an ugly win, but we arent playing for style points. But none of our remaining games ware gimies. All in all, though...it feels good to go to sleep a winner and know that for one week..we're in FIRST in the east.

Can someone handcuff Vinson to a chair in the film room? He got so burned on their last td.
