Maybe the best thing about this thread is how many people of faith there are in VN, and the outpouring of well wishes is just spectacular, but not surprising - I know where I'm coming when tragedy strikes

Wish I could do more then offer a prayer....for the record on stuff like this it wouldn't matter what school she went to, or what colors you or she take pride in. Thats real life your dealing with there. All of this is just not that important in comparison. You asked for a prayer, and prayers you will get. Keep faith my brother, it's sometimes hard to see, but our creator has a greater purpose than we can see in this life. Tell your mom we're pulling for her!

Having a parent diagnosed with something like that is one of the hardest things to deal with.

I watched my Mom battle cancer for almost 6 years. Unfortunately, she was incredibly stubborn and didn't go to the doctor when she first felt something.

The fact that your Mom was diagnosed so early is a definite advantage in her fight.

I will be praying for you, your Mom and family. It's not always easy, but she sounds like a fighter and that's what it takes. God worked a miracle once for my Mom and I know He can do the same for yours.

God Bless.

Finding it this early is already a answered prayer and greatly increases her chances of a full recovery.

My 14 year old great nephew is currently fighting with cancer for his life every day. Some of you may have seen him on the news recently a couple times. the most recent he got to throw the first pitch out at a Yankees or Cubs game (I forget) and they did a segment on it here in Tennessee.
He was stage 3 almost 4 before we caught it and his fight has been horrible.
His name is Tristan Greer and while he likes Baseball his Dad is all Vol.

I wont continue although I could fill this Forum up with my feelings about him.

I would like to ask any of you that wonder what a good charity to give to might be, to give to the Ronald McDonald House.
I can testify from experience that your money will be put to good use.
This is quite honestly an incredible organisation.

Saying prayers as well for you and your family.

Hang in there OH, my thoughts and prayers are with you and your Mom.

You (and your Mom) stay positive. I firmly believe a positive outlook and attitude, even in the worst of times, is vital to moving forward and recovery.

Hang in there. My best to you, Your Mom, and your family.

Thanks first for reading. Folks I'm 29 years of age, and have never had to endure the pain of losing close family members, and hoped to keep it that way for a while.

I recently found out that my mother was diagnosed with Chronic Lymphocydic Leukemia. It's in the very early stages, and the doctor said she's either a stage 0 or maybe 1, and that he guessed it would be 10-15 yrs before symptoms would be a normal part of life. I'm not very familiar with this, but i know this disease can be unpredictable and since it's my mother its constantly on my mind.

My mother is also a true Vol. She is a TN ALUM, and graduated with a 3.9 while being a single mother with us three children. She is a fighter and such a strong willed, amazing woman. All I ask is that her fellow alums and the rest of Vol Nation keep her in your prayers, and hopefully this will stay a slow progression until they find some kind of cure for it.

Thank you all so much, it means the world to me.

Go VOLS, from me and my moms . I'm going to show her all of volnations replys, it will make her day. So be nice ha jk.

P.s.-sorry if wrong forum.
