Thanks first for reading. Folks I'm 29 years of age, and have never had to endure the pain of losing close family members, and hoped to keep it that way for a while.
I recently found out that my mother was diagnosed with Chronic Lymphocydic Leukemia. It's in the very early stages, and the doctor said she's either a stage 0 or maybe 1, and that he guessed it would be 10-15 yrs before symptoms would be a normal part of life. I'm not very familiar with this, but i know this disease can be unpredictable and since it's my mother its constantly on my mind.
My mother is also a true Vol. She is a TN ALUM, and graduated with a 3.9 while being a single mother with us three children. She is a fighter and such a strong willed, amazing woman. All I ask is that her fellow alums and the rest of Vol Nation keep her in your prayers, and hopefully this will stay a slow progression until they find some kind of cure for it.
Thank you all so much, it means the world to me.
Go VOLS, from me and my moms . I'm going to show her all of volnations replys, it will make her day. So be nice ha jk.
P.s.-sorry if wrong forum.
