Thanks first for reading. Folks I'm 29 years of age, and have never had to endure the pain of losing close family members, and hoped to keep it that way for a while.

I recently found out that my mother was diagnosed with Chronic Lymphocydic Leukemia. It's in the very early stages, and the doctor said she's either a stage 0 or maybe 1, and that he guessed it would be 10-15 yrs before symptoms would be a normal part of life. I'm not very familiar with this, but i know this disease can be unpredictable and since it's my mother its constantly on my mind.

My mother is also a true Vol. She is a TN ALUM, and graduated with a 3.9 while being a single mother with us three children. She is a fighter and such a strong willed, amazing woman. All I ask is that her fellow alums and the rest of Vol Nation keep her in your prayers, and hopefully this will stay a slow progression until they find some kind of cure for it.

Thank you all so much, it means the world to me.

Go VOLS, from me and my moms . I'm going to show her all of volnations replys, it will make her day. So be nice ha jk.

P.s.-sorry if wrong forum.

Many prayers - been through similar things as many of us have. All this junk we post seems to lose its significance in light of real life issues. My best to your mom

All of my best to you and your mom. Tell her to be resolute in her battle with the nasty cancer and know she can beat it. Positive attitudes help in the fight.

She's in no pain as of now, just a low white blood cell count. It's very early in the slow process, but prayers will go a long way to help with her strength to make all the necessary life adjustments to help her body.

I will pray for her. I know this is easier said, but when you can not see his hand trust his heart. We sometimes only see the small picture, but he has a big picture.

Finding it this early is already a answered prayer and greatly increases her chances of a full recovery.

My 14 year old great nephew is currently fighting with cancer for his life every day. Some of you may have seen him on the news recently a couple times. the most recent he got to throw the first pitch out at a Yankees or Cubs game (I forget) and they did a segment on it here in Tennessee.
He was stage 3 almost 4 before we caught it and his fight has been horrible.
His name is Tristan Greer and while he likes Baseball his Dad is all Vol.

I wont continue although I could fill this Forum up with my feelings about him.

I would like to ask any of you that wonder what a good charity to give to might be, to give to the Ronald McDonald House.
I can testify from experience that your money will be put to good use.
This is quite honestly an incredible organisation.

Our prayers are with you brother. God has the final say in her life. Regardless of what the doctors have said, our father in heaven has the last word. Keep your faith and pray hard for her.
