I've heard about this, but never heard the full story about it. Can you link me? Once I do my research I'll tell you.

It was covered in the News-Sentinel, and is a true story. Pearl was cleared of any wrong doing. It happened the first summer he was in Knoxville.

I meant most of the recruitment on Patrick Patterson. He was a big UK lean before Gillispie got there. People were scared of losing him to Florida up until the day he signed because they weren't sure about Gillispie's recruiting.

I don't think Bruce is the best coach in America, but I'm not going to be ashamed to say I'm glad he's here. While he's not won a NC (yet), that doesn't take away from what he's done, not just on the record books but in the Vol community. What do I know? Apparently if you disagree with anyone on here your that means you should hide under a rock and never watch sports again.
It's fun to watch for entertainment value if nothing else.

Basketball is still, to a great extent, an urban game. New York, Chicago, et al still produce more players than Florida. The FLL/MIA area is getting there, but it can't cover for the rest of the state.

FYI - I'm pretty sure the cops determined the teen was drunk before he arrived at the Pearl household. Plus, Pearl did not serve alcohol to minors.

Don't waste your time arguing with this old dinosaur. He wouldn't admit he's wrong if everyone on this site disagreed with him. Don't you know someone in your life that can never be wrong. Well, on here, that person is hat. Also, if you disagree with him, you will be labeled an idiot because he is an attorney and he is always right.

From the link I just posted, it would appear that the teens got drunk after they left the Pearl household. That's an important distinction.

Ok. Read the article... And what Bruce 'did' was have kids at his house. It didn't even involve an arrest, and he had absolutely 0 to do with the accident or the alcohol. How is that similar at all to Billy G actually being arrested (more than once) on DUI charges?

I don't think Hat is an old dinosaur, and I enjoy his contributions to the board. We both have an appreciation for fine dining, and have swapped restaurant tips before.

I'd recommend you read and listen more, and judge less.
