A special request for my VN friends

Guys, I know we don't see eye to eye on everything, but I respect each of you in my own way. I find myself in an awkward position. I am a very independent person, and I struggle to ask but I need help.

Many are aware that I have Multiple Sclerosis, an auto immune disease where my white blood cells attack the myelin sheath of nerves in my brain and spinal cord. Been diagnosed for 7 years. I have never missed a day of work because of this till now. I have been placed off work for at least 2 weeks. I am in the middle of an extreme exacerbation. I have lost approximately 70% of my vision in my left eye and 50% of my strength and coordination on my right side.

I know not everyone believes in prayer, but I believe it works. I would appreciate any prayer on my behalf. I will fight. I won't quit.

I don't want to be a drama queen about this, but I have done everything that I can at this point. I need some help. I appreciate anything you guys could do. Thanks my political forum friends.

Guys, I can never express my gratitude. That's what I love about being a Vol. We try to take care of our own. I will give updates. Home health is giving me IV Solu-Medrol (a strong steroid) for the next 3 days to hopefully shorten the exacerbation.

Once again, my heart felt gratitude and respect to all. It is uplifting and gives me strength to keep fighting.

The Bible has always provided comfort for me in suffering. This passage in 1 Peter is also special to me.

Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, and into an inheritance that can never perish, spoil or fade. This inheritance is kept in heaven for you, who through faith are shielded by God’s power until the coming of the salvation that is ready to be revealed in the last time. In all this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while you may have had to suffer grief in all kinds of trials. These have come so that the proven genuineness of your faith—of greater worth than gold, which perishes even though refined by fire—may result in praise, glory and honor when Jesus Christ is revealed.
