Only thing I can think of is atleast, so far, we are going 3, 2, 1 in losing 30 point games.

We actually lost to LSU by 2 points in 2010. I'm not surprised we all blocked out that loss, though. It was 31 points in 2011. So 2, 3, 1.

How much does the University make on home games? They did spend millions of dollars on renovations for the stadium, pool, training facilities, soccer complex and dorms right? Well what if money actually isn't an issue, and just a time wasting excuse for something bigger? We obviously can't afford to lose recruits due to a losing program and lose money by not making BCS games. If we don't spend money to put us in a winning situation then here comes another 7 years bad luck! There's got to be more to it than claiming were "broke". IIRC Neyland project over $100mil, new sports training facility short of $100mil

That would pay for about 20 years of an elite coaching staff at a total of $10mil per year
