I've lived since 1975 in western Arkansas and been more or less forced to attend razorback games (my precious wife is Arkansas born and bred). Many years ago (1992) I was at the first game of the season when the hogs played the Citadel with the same result that happened in Neyland yesterday (including the same embarrassment). The A.D. was the legendary Frank Broyles who canned Jack Crowe on the spot. That was the same year the hogs upset Tennessee in Neyland. Fulmer needs to consider this.

A little different situation as Crowe was an in house promotion and Arkansas didn’t become the laughing stock of the CFB nation with a failed coaching search when they put Crowe in charge. Fulmer has to let Pruitt try to get this thing back on course. But your point is well noted because I remember that the players at Arkansas liked playing for coach Kines and Frank Broyles recognized that Crowe was in over his head and not connecting with his team. Plus, Broyles didn’t like some of Crowe’s staff hires. I think that this definitely has Fulmer’s attention and if this trend continues he may have to make the same decision.
