Hi D4H, JG gets beat out in the QB competition for next year and Trey is done. Kid needs to take care of himself. We somehow win 3 of 4 with all of us hoping and believing that we can run the table. We dominate the bowl finish 7-6, all with JG at the Qb position and Chryst contributing a bit down the stretch. Recruiting we finish with a top 10 fill our needs class. Offseason we get bigger and stronger, return all 11 off an improving offense, including a now 230+ lbs JG and prayfully a healthy Trey Smith at GUARD. Banks gains 25 lbs and plays a key role in improving our defense in 2019 (Pruitt will improve the defense and playing against 4-6 new QBs will help).
Next season starts with a veteran team and our weakest schedule in 2 decades, the Vols go 11-2 or 10-3 with Pruitt's 2nd big bowl win. All of a sudden Pruitt's record is 17-9, 2 top 10 classes and Alabama at home in 2020! Odds, I don't know, maybe as low as 10%, high as 80% should we get on a roll. We've all heard why this can't happen, it's time we all start believing in these kids and this staff, our head coach, starting qb and even old Bob on the radio because the facts are simple, this very well could be our only path to get back to where we all want to be. Obviously all of this goes south at 4-8 or 5-7 so no need in any NegaVol comments as this is just my view as I see it. Goodnight!

Until Tennessee get's an Elite QB, next year will always be next year
That will likely make too much sense for our simple minded NegaVols to grasp, tone it down a bit please sir!I don't think we don't need an elite QB. Bama won a number of NCs without an elite QB. We do need an elite OL. Then all the skill positions, including QB, which already look pretty good, should perform even better. Look at UK. They have an extremely inconsistent DT QB, but are 7-1 because of a stout D and an OL that generally wins the LOS.
Our schedule will not be as easy in 2020. If we're going to be good in 20 we better kick tail next season.
I think CJP is exactly that coach and that's why I believe he will do so well vs a weak schedule next year. Making a bowl this year is certainly important but not critical. I still think we go 9-3 or 10-2 next year regardless of how this year ends.Yeah, I get what you are saying, but the DL scares me for next year. I think the OL will improve. I think getting a bowl this year is huge though. I know 2020 schedule is harder, but I hope by then we can play with anyone if JP is the coach I think he is.

Nope, never met him, but I do evaluate talent for our service as I see it. JG checks all the marks with coaches. Big arm, good size, elite toughness, great competitor, class act (see his Auburn interview not his 1st game on the bench last year) and athletic with good grades. He's also one of our highest graded players on the season by PFF, a group who does crazy good NFL draft grades and players potential to play at the next level. Are you related to "JG"?
Would you be willing to name some QBs youve helped get to schools?Nope, never met him, but I do evaluate talent for our service as I see it. JG checks all the marks with coaches. We don't help anyone get to certain schools, we simply build player profiles and send them out to our coaches contact lists and let the coaches decide for themselves. Most of our athletes will play D2, D3, Juco and NAIA, as the top D1 guys/girls seldom need help being found, however we do have several every year in different sports go on to play D1. 20 or so of our last 90 softball girls have gone Div 1 the last few years. This year's starting QB for Troy came through our service, he tore his knee a few weeks ago. Levi Draper a So linebacker at Oklahoma was in our sevice. We played a part in Aaron Sears and Jason Allen getting to UT and the Goode brothers to Alabama, several others are listed on our website. I've got a 98 National Champs tee shirt that Vicky Fulmer gave my boss years ago (He's a bama fan) while recruiting. Over 30+ years in the industry our company has dealt with too many coaches to count at every level of college athletics.Would you be willing to name some QBs youve helped get to schools?
