I knew BOTs are trying to buy up tickets and resell them at a big profit and and are making annoying sales calls on my cellphone -- but I didn't know a BOT was trying to interfere with the OC search.

Actually, BOTs are passe. AI is the big thing now.

Here's a simple request: On UTAD's efforts to fill the vacant offensive coordinator position for our football team...butt out...please. Most of us prefer to solve our problems peacefully, and not being disruptive to the overall tranquility to our institution and to our fan base. However, don't forget the horrid train wreck from last years bungled coaching search; one which resulted in crowd of angry fans demonstrating on campus over the outrageous handling and bungling of a similar situation...this one which ended with the dismissal of the sitting AD. A good portion of this was mitigated via your constituency (Are you reading this Mr. Haslam?), who appeared to have pre-chosen his/their own pet choices.

All of Volnation is both pleased and optimistic with AD Phillip Fulmer and with HC Jeremy Pruitt. It's their designation to decide upon who's to fill that vacant spot, and it's not at all any of your's.

Once again, neighbors. Please just sit back and let the leaders lead.

The BOT has absolutely nothing to do with coaching searches. Zero. Period. And rumor or report to the contrary is delusional at best, a flat out lie at the worst.

I appreciate the intentions of the OP...and I think it's naive to suggest the Haslams have nothing to do with ANY coaching search or flex their muscle any time they like. They may or may not be involved with this one.

I'm going to give you a like for effort, Volman, but surely you had to know the savaging was coming. VN is not a club or gathering of likeminded fans who get together and chat, at least not in general. Rather, it's guys with too much time on their hands, lying in wait to anonymously attack the poster. Feeling the camaraderie yet?

good try sameolvol, but you should know better than to tell Vol fans to "simma down" ..BTW...you came on a "discussion site" to tell people to butt out...seriously...concerning a decision that will/could have a devastating effect, not only on the football future, but people's coaching future...:D

PS. FWIW...believe your heart was in the right place, but not your fingers...
