Cincinnati is not an SEC caliber team, but they are no pushover. They were actually a pretty good ball team. We handled them easily at full strengh. That should be enough to beat most teams on our schedule and hang with a couple others. We should be in much better shape this year. Is it fall yet????

Cincinnati finished in a 3 way tie for the big east. Not like winning the sec but it's also not something to totally scoff at.

I remember giving the Cincy O-Line an earful after they failed to convert on their third 4th and 1 attempt. Good times.

It's ok their fans gave UT fans an earful all through Neyland before the game. Oddly enough they were extremely quiet afterwards.

It was mind-boggling

Cincinnati beat Vandy who beat Ky and played even with Georgia, Arky, and Fla.

Cincy was by far our best game of the year imo - and had we been able to continue to play at a comparable level we would have won a few more games.

I think we may have even been underdogs for the Cincy game.

We beat Alabama -- but our field goal kicker kicked it into some fat guys gut to snatch victory away. We beat North Carolina in the bowl game - no wait. We beat LSU down there - no wait. Throttled Georgia when Kiffin was here.

Ohhhh the black jerseys. What a great night that was. Even standing in the freezing cold and pouring rain that was a fantastic game. I remember feeling SOOO good about the direction our program was heading.

come on man that's a pretty weak argument. That's like saying our 09 team lost to bama by 2 so that means we could have beaten texas by 10. Head to head is all that matters

I had forgotten how sharp Marlin Lane looked at times in the early goings of the season. We may get some good production out of him yet.
