This. Do you really think PJ Fleck (who fielded a top 10 team in 2019) would want to inherit this mess? I get it...Minnesota is pretty much only known for their hockey team, but at this point Tennessee isn’t any more desirable to outsiders.

PJ Fleck couldn't handle UT, their is no pressure at Minnesota. Go 7-6 to 9-3 every year. Pop off a 10 win every 4-5 years. Plus he is getting 3-4 million a year . Can't beat that. No Pressure.

I didn't know that about Herman. Being a cop myself, I was enraged over the black jersey crap. I walked away from all things football. Not trying to be political here by the way. I watched no Vols games this year and completely ignored anything related. All it took though was seeing a headline on the news that Pruitt was fired. I knew it was coach search time and y'all brought me back. Who could resist this fun?

Considering the fact that severe sanctions are a very real possibility, and none of the pie in the sky candidates like Matt Campbell would be willing to walk into that, who would be the best option to take the job?

I'd personally go with Leipold if he'd take it, but maybe punting for a year with Steele then re-grouping next year might not be a bad idea either.

I don't usually agree with Finebaum but yesterday, he said that if the NCAA comes down hard on Tn after they did the right thing , then there will be no incentive for another team to address infractions on their own. That makes sense.
