Name four Vol signees from recent years who currently lead their team in receiving? Bonus points for another who is second.

WAIT

NOT YET

OK, NOW

Preston Williams, Colorado State -- 78 catches, 1020 yards, 9 TDs
Jalen Hurd, Baylor ------------------- 62 catches, 837 yards, 4 TDs
Vic Wharton, Cal -------------------- 42 catches, 428 yards, 1 TD
Marquez Callaway, UT -------------- 32 catches, 458 yards, 1 TD

And the answer to the bonus question is:

Alvin Kamara, Saints ---------------- 55 catches, 473 yards, 3 TDs (Understand he's runs the ball pretty well, too)

OK, no points, but one more question: Who do we blame for all those passes being caught elsewhere?

Jesus. I mean.. I just announced this to my office here at work and there was a lot of laughs and "that ONLY happens at Tennessee" comments.

No one, I repeat NO ONE, ran off elite talent like Butch. I bet he wondered “what the hell are these coaches doing” when he saw Saban’s staff coaching scout teamers and moving 4 star recruits to different positions.

It was Jones. Part of it was that the spread was not conducive to the passing game, particularly with Dobbs as QB. Dobbs ran so well we didn't need to throw as much. And Dobbs was not always accurate.

But more than offensive scheme and QB tendencies, we never had a consistent rotation at WR. Jones also stupidly played injured WRs. Pig played injured a long time and so did North, and they both suxed playing injured. The WR rotation under Jones made no sense whatsoever. We never really had a stud (primary) WR under Jones, although North looked that way for a bit. Just crazy WR rotations game to game, no consistency. About the worst, most underachieving part of the Vols under Jones, and yes it was his fault.

We aren't WRU, RBU, DBU, QBU...haven't been any of those for a long time. Maybe PU.

It is absolutely obscene the amount of talent Jones wasted while he was here.
