A quick question....

Then that leads to another question that has plagued Fulmer for some time : are they not getting the young talent prepared in time?

That is one of the main reasons we are discussing this topic. We don't need people who are projects or need work for 4 years to play. There are exceptions and I know that some players are just buried on the depth chart, but they should still get them in playing to prepare them for the speed of the game.

I think the pass prtection excuse is code for has no idea which way to go in general. Pass protction isn't that hard.

:)You're probably right . . . although knowing whether to take the guy coming off the corner or the guy coming up the middle is a really good thing to know.

Thing is, if it's an obvious passing situation why not put the best blocking back in. That's MAYBE an exception, even though it's a poor excuse. We your running the ball though, who cares if the back can block, it's more about running the ball and scoring a touchdown.

Two on one is hard to cover, but that usually means that we need a screen pass. :)

That's usually when Arian is in the game. He's also the best receiver.

"Hey Tyrone . . . I know it's a real game, but go in their and lineup at right tackle and get your ass whipped so you'll know how it feels!" :good!:

doing that every single week...that's a little much. Plus what happens if say, berry has to go out of town 2 or 3 days for something family related. Should Morley or whoever just immediately get his spot that week then?

Competition is the goal, but that doesn't mean who are chosen the starters will play the majority of the game. It just means those that start brought everything they had during the week and deserve the shot to prove their worth.
