How many of the other 65 teams in BCS conferences are you confident Tennessee will be better than this season? I'll hang up and go watch '80s porn on my BetaMax. Posted via VolNation Mobile.

I still say we'll be better than a majority of other programs. Like the mid/lower teams in the Big 10, Pac-10, and Big 12. Probabley better than all of the Big East... LOL. Don't know we'll see. I can't wait for the season.

I guess we'll find out at the end of the season. Right now, it's a toss up, mainly because other teams could underperform as well.

are you talking about talent or actual rankings?

Simply who you think they will be better than. Look at it this way. How many of those teams would you feel confident Tennessee would beat on a neutral field?

This looks pretty good to me. I'm assuming you left out the SEC by mistake, so I'd add Vanderbilt and Mississippi State.

Nope. We're sweeping the conference.

And yeah, I just stuck to OOC teams.

Fair enough. Hat said 65 teams and I assumed that included the SEC, but I didn't feel like putting my beer down for long enough to go check how many teams are in BCS Conferences.

I don't know enough about Louisville, Minnesota, and Illinois to include them. And I think Arizona State, with Erickson alone, is set-up better than us.

We could beat approximately 20 teams, in my opinion. If the O-line outperforms and barring any serious injuries then maybe 25-30.

I'm sure he did, I just left them out. Conference matchups are more of a toss-up. For God's sake, we almost beat Alabama last year.

Oregon State was a game away from losing to Ohio State in the Rose Bowl. I don't feel any confidence against them.

Oregon State would hammer Tennessee. Stanford wouldn't have much trouble, either.
