A question about special teams

Apologies if this has already been asked and discussed.

Just wondering who will be returning kicks and punts. I know things may not be decided yet but was hoping to just get names of those in the mix.

I'm mainly curious because I don't like seeing Cam back there on punts and hope someone else can take that responsibility from him. Not because I don't think he's capable, it because..well..you know.

Cam will still be returning punts. He's our best chance at a big return IMO. Evan Berry will most likely be back for kick returns. Would love to see Berry take one 100 yards for a TD this season. He's been close to breaking one a few times.

With this coaching staff.....probably Dobbs or Maggit!

Obviously I kid....people complain about starters taking on the job....but they do have the best chance of turning a L into a W by being back there....and no i do not think dobbs or maggit should be fielding punts....just saying. It is a game of chance of injury versus great field position or a TD winning game against a huge opponent. It gives us the best chance of a TD. That's why teams put very good talent back there.

But....when you have more depth then we have right now then you can somewhat afford to take the risk of having a starter fielding punts. Not that it wouldn't be a blow to lose Sutton from a ST's injury....but I guess you would feel more comfortable as a coach if you knew you had a solid backup in the waiting.

My hopes as well. Cam is a huge play maker, but I'd like to see him make those plays on defense. We've got enough threats in the skill position areas that can get the job done back there hopefully.

This isn't the AAC. He may be fully capable at this level too, but players are a lot bigger and faster in the SEC. Time will only tell if he gets the chance.

those will be the kickoff returners and Cam will handle punts. he has handled for two years without injury. can't play scared
