A note on Sal from Bama fan >

Vinnie is staying at Bama. He has no reason to leave that is big enough for him to lose a year of eligibility.

Why would you leave a program that may win yet another NC in two or three years? He could possibly have 2 NC rings and 3 SEC championship rings before the graduates! (Not to say that Alabama is going to win the SEC the next 3 years in a row, but their odds are better than ours.)

First, let me say that we Bama fans like Sal Sunseri a lot. He's a solid coach who is definitely competent at the SEC level. Second, "Coach Sal" is a fantastic recruiter. This guy can make friends and get chummy with recruits and their families faster than anyone I can remember. Finally, as you may know, his son Vinnie plays at Alabama as a true freshman (has seen significant playing time, including in the BCS NCG) and it's sort of disappointing to see Vinnie and his dad split apart.

Best wishes to you guys getting your program turned around.

Thanks , and if you are truly disappointed , just go ahead and have Nick give Vinnie that unconditional release and we will take good care of both.:):)

Wow this has to be a record. Multiple complete sentences from a Bama fan without using RTR once.....

From what I hear, he was gonna be Bammers DC whenever Smart leaves.

Probably so.

He is the best LB coach Saban has had. He is a very good recruiter.

We will see how good he is at running the D. I think he is better than Chavis at LSU.

His players will know what to do.

Who cares about respect from a Bama fan. Where's the fun in that???????? I dont like them, they dont like me, and I for one am fine with it that way.

Just because you don't like them, doesn't mean you can't respect them. Bama can be classy... Just look at the Bear. In fact, I'd say that out of all of our rivals, they are the classiest and its why cheered for them over LSU.

I thought the 'go back to alabama' post was kind of funny. Sure, tide guy gave a 'classy post', but that's easy to do when you've just won a NC.

I'm not fooled. I don't give a damn about the whole state of Alabama, truth be told.

All this bama love is about to make me sick.

There is no class in bama land. Remember when Tennessee was beating that a**. The classy tide tried to subpeona our coach.

I have not respect for cheaters and no respect for poor losers.

Bottom line for me is that the original post on this thread was good info and classy post from a Bama fan. IF you grow up and IF you live in the real world, you end up friends with people from all over the SEC and it's fun to give each other a hard time and just have fun with it. I love to hate Bama on gameday, but when Bama was down and we were beating them 7 in a row, I wanted them to get good again. I want the best teams in the SEC to be good because you gotta love the competition and you want to beat them when they're at their best. Now I'm ready for us to be good again and get back in the win column against Bama and the rest of them.

What the hell do you think Im doing?
