Vinnie is staying at Bama. He has no reason to leave that is big enough for him to lose a year of eligibility.
First, let me say that we Bama fans like Sal Sunseri a lot. He's a solid coach who is definitely competent at the SEC level. Second, "Coach Sal" is a fantastic recruiter. This guy can make friends and get chummy with recruits and their families faster than anyone I can remember. Finally, as you may know, his son Vinnie plays at Alabama as a true freshman (has seen significant playing time, including in the BCS NCG) and it's sort of disappointing to see Vinnie and his dad split apart.
Best wishes to you guys getting your program turned around.
Who cares about respect from a Bama fan. Where's the fun in that???????? I dont like them, they dont like me, and I for one am fine with it that way.
Bottom line for me is that the original post on this thread was good info and classy post from a Bama fan. IF you grow up and IF you live in the real world, you end up friends with people from all over the SEC and it's fun to give each other a hard time and just have fun with it. I love to hate Bama on gameday, but when Bama was down and we were beating them 7 in a row, I wanted them to get good again. I want the best teams in the SEC to be good because you gotta love the competition and you want to beat them when they're at their best. Now I'm ready for us to be good again and get back in the win column against Bama and the rest of them.
