Does anyone else have the feeling that we're about to see a totally different Vols football team for the remainder of the season and bowl game preparation? It feels great to think that way! At the end of the season, I hope that we are asking "where was this team against Georgia, etc.?" If so, the answer might be, they were growing up...? :crossfingers:

I think you are right on. I saw a significant improvement in the team overall in the USCjr game. We still have serioius depth problems but the fire in the belly seemed to there more than any game so far this year.

We have been mediocre all year long but it'd make me very happy to see this young team making steps in the right direction.

Yes, I do. I believe Bray will bring a whole different skill set and we will put up points much easier. This will open our running game up also. I feel the Vols hit rock bottom and are coming back now.

Should see a better team.....playing teams that aren't as talented as the ones we faced early this year

UAB proved that this team will have problems against anyone not called Memphis in the remaining games.

I would like to think we'll see a different team because it's been pretty dificult watching the one that has been on the field this season.

No. We've improved but we're still shorthanded and very young. However, I think Bray is going to give us a fairly decent passing attack. I wanted Simms to remain QB but you can't argue that the team is more points productive with Bray in there.

If we drop 2 or 3 of these last games, I wonder how fast the mob will turn on Bray? Then the new mantra will be "Worley is the future."

Considering the level of teams we play drop significantly, it's going to be hard to tell how much we improve vs. how bad the teams we play are.

OM and Kentucky are average at best, and Vandy and Memphis are horrible.

With the competition level dropping off this week, the Vols should have a good day and they may well seem like a new team. CDD has also made some personnel changes which, in my opinion, will help. This team has come close to pulling off an upset a couple of times and a good win may just turn them around for the rest of the season.

Winning out will help with my warm fuzzies leading into NSD and the off season. Though I'm not too confident the Vols can win out.

And with one of those horrible's beating one of the average's, I'm with you. This four will not be near as good as our last four.

It appears that we have replaced 4 of 11 starters on offense since UT martin. Hunter/D Rogers are playing more and more at WR. So perhaps you could say 5 of 11.

Bray
Fulton
Fuggate
Stone

Since the major worry concerning the last 4 games centers on beating Ole Miss, here's a little trivia.
They start 2 freshmen and at times play 3 in their oline, just like us.
On defense, they give up more points per game than we do.
Playing at home, could make it a pretty even game.

Haha we only got Nance so we could secure Da'Rick, but as we can tell, Rogers has been GREAT this year for us...not. I think we need to give Bray a chance, all you guys who think Simms is better are wrong. Simms, every week says he's gonna improve and be the best QB. " Simms, drops back, and he's smashed from behind and the ball comes lose. South Carolina gets the ball back!!". " Bray checks the receivers, snaps the ball. Bray steps back, he's being pressured, steps ups and bombs one to an open Denarius Moore and it's caught!!!!!!". Commentary's great :pepper::pepper:

And after he gets in and gets sacked 20 times just like everyone else, it will be "What a Nancey."
Didn't you know, Ip:
When simms gets sacked it's because simms sucks.
When Bray gets sacked it's because the oline sucks.
When simms throws pics, it's because simms sucks.
When Bray throws pics, it's because the coaches suck.
Seems to be the common consensus.
