The idea of this post is probably pretty dumb, and probably seems like whoring for attention, but it's not my intent. With the preface out of the way, here's the post:

This is partially inspired by a private conversation with JZVol, but something I've needed to do for awhile on these boards.

I'm turning over a new leaf.

No more rude insults, no more namecalling, no more degrading.

Yup, I realize I've offended a lot of people and hurt plenty of feelings, and I wish I could take it all back. However, I can't. What I do plan on doing is approaching this message board with more tact and class.

Obviously I have confidence for both my knowledge of the game of football and also the factual data behind it. However, I let confidence turn into cockiness and I created some sort of weird VolNation persona that really isn't an accurate taste of who I really am.

In life outside of this forum, I'm actually a kind, caring, gracious, and fun person. Seriously. So, I'm bringing that to this board, from now on.

I'll still debate and discuss with much passion, but in a more respectful way. I shouldn't degrade anybody, even if the opinion is way out there or if their facts are wrong. Nobody needs that when they come to their daily escape from the world.

So, I apologize to those I've insulted, offended, and pissed off. From here on out, I will do my best to keep this weird ego in tact. With that, I will also bring even more to the VN table in terms of analysis, thoughts, etc.

Thanks for reading this if you did. If you didn't, you'll notice.

Lastly, I'm not sure this applies to VolMania. :)

It's nice to see somone inspired you to turn over a new leaf, I hope it goes well for you. When are you gonna bring that bar of yours to K-town? I hope I got the right guy, I know it was someone and I thought it was you, my mistake if not.

Yup, you remembered correctly. It's probably a 5 year plan for me, maybe 7. I have little money saved up, so for the next few years, I'll save money and build a good plan.
