Is his dad interested in the AD position by any chance? Please keep the Dooley's out of Knox CD. Use your super secret crime fighting powers.

Its a name thats beginning to float don't know if it ever grows legs...I will say he made a good haul as Nick's Rec Co at LSU so he is as or more qualified than Kif was.

I don't trust his daddy either!

no one is talking about Charlie Weis. Money and food could win this guy. Just imagine what he could do with so stupid real football players. But we have to hurry before is contract starts.

Vince Dooley! He's the man--he's starting a program at kennesaw st. university in Atlanta, but will take the UT job for the right money!!!

Charlie Weis...

I think he could win here. At the opening presser he could say he is glad to be somewhere finally where he can work hand in hand with the administration and recruit successfully. He would need a great DC.

The LA Tech HC? Are you serious? I guess you are saying, Kirby Smart, Skip Holtz, Dave Clawson etc said now?

Charlie Wise spends more time devouring cold cuts then he does coaching. He is the worst option.

What about June Jones?

OBviously I'm biased, but it'd be interesting to see how his style of offense held up in the SEC. Everyone points to the UGA/Hawaii game, but if he was on an even playing field in terms of talent I think it'd be a different story

QFT the shoot has been successful on every level and if Bob Davie had not been at Texas A&M Jon Jenkins would have continued to torch defenses. June has went away from the pure Mouse Davis shoot and really has went to some WCO principles. If the shoot had better protections schematically speaking it would still be extremely popular, you can also add the Oilers playoff game ruining the shoots reputation. Shoot elements are still run at every level: Choice, Go, Switch. That said I don't think he comes here, he is getting a lot of money, would be a good choice though.

I'd rather remove my own gall bladder with an oyster fork than have Weis at UT.

Tommy Tuberville has not yet signed anything yet at Texas Tech. He's kicking himself for jumping too quick over there. He's also puttting together an impressive staff so far. He's a great coach, well respected in this profession....

...and I'm an alumni of a Texas Tech rival so I would like nothing more than for Tech to get effed over, while helping the Vols out at the same time.

Bo Pellini from Nebraska??????????

Forget it. First of all, he's at Nebraska. You don't leave Nebraska for another college job.

Second, he's a hero up there. He's cleaned up Callahan's mess and he has them on the way up. Most Husker fans wanted him as head coach after Solich, and when Callahan failed, not hiring Pelini got the AD canned.

Third, he has Tom Osborne's 100% backing, which is like having a letter of recommendation from God with Husker fans.

It can't hurt to ask, but there's no way Pelini's leaving Lincoln.

Another no one is talking about: Dave Clawson.
Let Fulmer become the AD, and it might happen.
