A Look into the Minds of the Intelligent USCjr Fans

Pretty stout. Add to that the fact South Carolina falls flat on their faces on offense when they get inside the opponent's 40 and it may very well be a long night for us.

I think you all will have to hit a couple big plays in the passing game to stay in it. If you do that, it will come right down to the wire. You all don't seem to have many long sustained drives. It's more of a big play score or no score offense. Or at least that is my impression of it after watching it some.

I think that Monte is going to give Garcia the little dinks and dunks all night long and see if he can move your offense down the field without making mistakes. What do you think of Garcia's ability to make the right reads and operate that kind of offense. Monte will not give up the big play over the top to Alson. We have not given up a single long pass play all year.

We often times get HUGE plays. But they are rarely ever taken to the house. Players often get tripped up or just don't have the speed or stamina or something.

Garcia has looked light-speeds better in his decision-making and playmaking. However he still has his moment where you just sit back and go "What the heck was that?!". Point in case the pick-6 in the Bama game. And don't be so sure about Jeffery. The kid is the second-coming of Sidney Rice imo and may possibly be better. Not saying he will, just don't count it out.

You never count anything out - these are kids we are talking about. One of them might start thinking about updating his Facebook account during a third down blitz and...

I'm just saying Green and Jones did nuttin against us, so we aren't quakin' in our boots over Ashlon.

Jeffery is definitely a great talent, but I agree that the probabilities are that he is not going to have a big day because right now Green and Jones are both better than him, and neither had a big day against us.

How does one look at Kiffin as a good coach? Blows me away.

What blows me away is idiots like you saying he isnt a good coach. This is his first season as a head coach in college and hes in the SEC! Another thing that blows me away is USCjr fans talking so much trash. Your school has no tradition at all, you couldnt hack it in the ACC, you come to the SEC, have two big name coaches, Holtz and Spurrier and still cant even get to an SEC Championship game LOL!!

Reading through a thread is obviously not a prerequisite to posting here.

You seem alright. Welcome.

Who for SC will be able to do the things Arenas did for Alabama last week. ie... blitzing and chasing the qb on the roll outs? Do they have an athlete who is close in comparison?

Ok. I admit I crossed the line. I got fed up with all these stupid gas pumping comments. If you're coach didn't say it why do you all use it so constantly?

Regardless, I apologize for what I said. I don't know much about Hood but he has obviously has done well with his life since. I know he wasn't the actual person to do it but he was involved. Let's move on and talk football WITHOUT these stupid jokes about college kids. Deal?

If you will quit talking **** about our coach.

Oh wait. That is the only reason you came here. VOLS it is a good sign when our adversaries come here to take shots at our coach. A lot of trouble to go through to satisfy there thirst for feeling relevant. The gators, bammers, an cocks all sound a bit desperate to get rid of Lane Kiffin. He is in their heads BAD.

Yeah because everything about that post you quoted screams "I just want to talk trash at LK."

Don't worry. They won't get inside the forty much.

Norwood and Geathers off the corner, crazy speed
I've enjoyed reading this thread. As a Gamecock I'll admit it started as I assumed but leveled off into footbball talk nicely. Thanks I predict a really good game, hopefully "New Carolina" can pull it off.:worship:

Norwood isn't going to be blitzing from the CB spot though.

I'm not saying he isn't going to be making plays all night, but he can't be used like Arenas was.

Culliver (the WR that was turned into a safety, not sure of his name) blitzing scares me.

With the special teams on both sides of the ball in this game I wouldn't be surprised if both teams start off inside the 40 a lot.

Kick off defense:
USC is ranked 114th, giving up 26.08 yds per kick, 2 td'sand only 1 touchback.
Tenn is ranked 117, giving up 28.06 yds per kick, 2 td's and 4 touchbacks

Punting D not much better
USC #98, giving up 13.0 yds per kick, 0 td's
Tenn #76, giving up9.92 yds per kick, 0 td's

This game may go down to who does not give up a couple of big plays on special teams

Chris Culliver, also returns kick offs, very fast. He avg. 24.5 per return and can tackle well on D.
