I found this when glancing at Cockytalk and thought some of you would find it amusing. I think this "crowd generated" rooster crow might be a great recruiting tool for them...:eek:lol::crazy:

What would it take....
Ok guys and gals,

I have seen it mentioned in several threads that we should start a "crowd generated" rooster crow. I think its a great idea, it would sounds pretty freaking awesome if the 80,000 fans did the rooster crow.

But, what would it take to get it started? I guess the biggest two obstacles would be A) the timing of the crow, ie getting everyone to do it together and B) making people aware that they should do the crow.

How do these types of things get started? Anyone else on board with this?

I really expected to see nothing but empty space in this post after reading the thread title.

Why not start with a rousing rendition of Old Macdonald. When they get to the rooster part, everything will take care of itself.

Has one of these things mentioned in the title ever been witnessed? Is there one in captivity somewhere?

You guys should know all about crowing. Your coach will be eating a lot of it anyways.

CNB...I am trying to learn a little about SC fans and I can promise you I am not trying to be funny or degrading to you or your team. As a Tennessee fan it has been hard for me to watch UT play for a couple of years out of the last 4. Really hard.

How do you guys do it year in and out? I mean you guys are the definition of mediocrity (which doesn't cut it in the SEC) as far as records are concerned. It has usually been a battle between you and Kentucky for 4th in the East. Has it been hard to continue to follow your team? I am really interested in this.

How does one look at Kiffin as a good coach? Blows me away.

Thank you for your amazing insight. How do you get the time to share this wisdom when you have your other duties of being the poster child for euthanasia.

Well to take off the garnet-colored glasses for now it's hard not to support a team you grew up around. Not to mention if said team hasn't ever won anything of value, then mediocrity is celebrated. Sure as hell beats sucking -coughkentuckycough-.

We just aren't spoiled with a rich tradition like the Tennessee's and Alabama's of the nation. If that makes me less of a fan than so be it. I'm still going to support my team no matter what.

Yet UT signed the rapist.

I know literacy isn't required at Pilot, but you might want to get somebody to read the case to you, and you would see that his cousin was the one that raped the girl.

well done. good answer to teh questions. i was just wondering how it is in columbia. do people get angry about the consistent 7-5 seasons and do you guys believe spurrier is the guy to make you champions. I remember both holtz and spurrier saying they were going to win the SEC and stuff. What are your expectations with spurrier?
