:salute: But, by my calculation, 1919 was not 98 years ago. Not unless there's some sort of schism in my personal time/space continuum. Maybe my wormhole’s out of whack again. Damn futuristic technology.

I served for 10 years and served in the first gulf war, before hurting my back and knee while jumping out of airplanes at FT. BRAGG. Thank you, and thank you to all the men and women who continue to serve. God Bless

You mean a lot to all of us and I'd just like to thank all you do and have done to defend out rights and freedoms. It's amazing how you can put your life on hold for years just to protect the future of our country, and for that, I'd just like to say thank you. Thank you so much.:3083yourock::fireworks::

It's not quite putting one's life on hold.

and thanks for posting this reminder. I have relatives serving now and many others who have served and I appreciate what all of our military has done to protect our country. I want to remind all young people that you may not serve in the military but you have a responsibility to LEARN what is going on in this country and to exercise your right to VOTE....YOU are the future of this nation and YOU are what the veterans and our military heroes are fighting for so GET INVOLVED AND GET INFORMED!!

Veterans Day

:rock::rock::rock::rock::rock::rock::rock:

Rather proclaim it, Westmoreland, through my host,
That he which hath no stomach to this fight,
Let him depart; his passport shall be made
And crowns for convoy put into his purse:
We would not die in that man's company
That fears his fellowship to die with us.
This day is called the feast of Crispian:
He that outlives this day, and comes safe home,
Will stand a tip-toe when the day is named,
And rouse him at the name of Crispian.
He that shall live this day, and see old age,
Will yearly on the vigil feast his neighbours,
And say 'To-morrow is Saint Crispian:'
Then will he strip his sleeve and show his scars.
And say 'These wounds I had on Crispin's day.'
Old men forget: yet all shall be forgot,
But he'll remember with advantages
What feats he did that day: then shall our names.
Familiar in his mouth as household words
Harry the king, Bedford and Exeter,
Warwick and Talbot, Salisbury and Gloucester,
Be in their flowing cups freshly remember'd.
This story shall the good man teach his son;
And Crispin Crispian shall ne'er go by,
From this day to the ending of the world,
But we in it shall be remember'd;
We few, we happy few, we band of brothers;
For he to-day that sheds his blood with me
Shall be my brother; be he ne'er so vile,
This day shall gentle his condition:
And gentlemen in England now a-bed
Shall think themselves accursed they were not here,
And hold their manhoods cheap whiles any speaks
That fought with us upon Saint Crispin's day.

Act IV, scene iii

Thank you Sincerely Veterans.

In this order:
Those that have lost their lives protecting our country(and their families)
Those that actually fought and survived,
Those that are in harms way as I type this,
and those who are stateside and obviously this is not always the safest place considering Fort Hood, etc.

Thanks guys!
