Griz defense is fundamentally sound. They are usually in position to make the tackle. They have a lot of speed at linebacker, but their defensive line isn't overwhelming and have a lot of inexperience at the safety position. Tru Johnson will do a pretty good job of covering his receiver. You can complete passes on him, but have to pick your spots.

He will probably be drafted in the first 3 rounds of the draft next year.

On offense, the Griz are in transition. They have the offensive line for a power running attack and they are good at run blocking, but run a wide open passing attack. Its going to be a long day for Griz offense as they try to settle on a starting QB etc. They do have a lot of talent at the skill positions (quite a few transfers from UCLA, Washington, etc) but I don't know if they will be able to take advantage of it this early in the season.


Good luck this weekend and I hope Dooley can get you guys headed back in the right direction. The SEC without Tennessee being a major force in football just isn't right.

Well its official, I wont make it. Thought there was a glimmer of hope as our drilling rig was down for maintenance but work starts tonight at midnight. Luckily I have the midnight-noon shift so hoping to find game in Williamsport or State College (although if PSU is playing at same time thats probably out).

I have officially given up my 9th row ticket. :(

So let me interpret....

The Grizzlies are going to pound some Vols, and blow them off the line driving them a bit crazy. Some Vols will even lose their britches, shaking their booties as they fall to the ground cursing Corso.

Some of these same Vol players are cheering on the Vol trolls, happily dancing and losing their britches again. This time embarrassment sets in and they blame Bammer.

Once in the locker room they talk to Ralph on the big white telephone, and become typical athletes having a few beers and girls. Are they UT hostesses? No, we've beaten that horse to death, but they are well endowed TN ladies...who like any true lady would decline advancements from the UT players.

21-3 Louisville over Murray St.

All of those are first half scores except for Louisville.
