Do you realize UT has dodged buzzer beater bullets four times in recent weeks. Luckily they all were just for the tie, and luckily none went in. Last night was the most recent aginst Fla. The others were LSU ,UGA, and KY. I know the ref signaled that the one against KY was after the horn, but I was there, trust me replay would of revealed he got it off with .2 on the clock.

When you are on top, you get every team's best game. Period.

before the season started, BP made a point to make it known that this season would be different for this team. they've spent the majority of their time at Tennessee chasing the prize, climbing the mountain.

one of the biggest challenges they were going to have this season was reacting to being the one on top and having everyone put a bullseye on them as the team to beat.

that means you have games like that and you really see what you're made of.

i'd say, Mission Accomplished, coach.

I'm sure ready to see the Vols play a game that's not a nail biter. All these close games are about to kill me. But I'm sure as we head into the tournaments, we wil see more close games than laughers.

Yeah some of the calls have been a little sketchy. I especially don't like it when they're not consistant on both ends.

Yeah they were close but we do get most teams best shot. I see it as a team that has great senior leadership that doesn't panic and a coach that doesn't panic. We out hustle teams for 40 minutes and it pays off.

I just don't buy all of the media hyped 'other teams' best shot' language.

When we play well, we generally drill lesser teams and win tough, close games with better teams. When we play poorly, it's a Helter Skelter affair and our talent has been good enough this season to win those affairs. It's a huge leap from where we were in Pearl's first 2 seasons. Our depth provided the ability to wear teams down and that likely was a huge key in our prevailing in the tight games.

I was there too. Trust me, I disagree. Replay would have revealed he did not get the shot off. I didn't even think it was all that close.
