A Little fed up

Face it, we suck and it's not going to get better. Once Yexas and Oklahoma join the SEC, Tennessee will never compet for the top spot e in this league again. Like Mississippi and MSU and Arkansas and Vandy, we will be the doormats going forward.

Get used to it.
Yawn. There’s no reason we can’t have sustained success in this league. Once the ball gets rolling, UT will be a desirable place for any recruit. It’s a question of when, not if.

I'm fed up with not Seeing UT in top 10 rankings, and I'm fed up of espn not even mentioning UT, I'm fed up with UT not being in the " Teams with greatest % to make the playoff. The fans need to show up and have a atmosphere like the 2015 OU game EVERY game. its on the fans just as much as the team. We also need around 8-9k more seats.
Gonna be honest. With rare and understandable exceptions, "we" have been there. Throughout this incredible mess I've missed only a handful of games on TV. We live too far away to attend in person often... but I like almost every Vol fan find a way to hope that this season will be better... different. I still believe that one season it WILL be better and different.

So I pretty much reject the idea that UT's fans haven't shown up every year until given a compelling reason not to. Shoot, after GSU, fans still came back when UT showed signs of life.

A fanbase this loyal and longsuffering doesn't deserve blame... it deserves medals... and a better team.

ESPN has mentioned UT plenty over the past decade. Usually not in a way we like though 😬

I love hopping on here to see all the “fed up” posts before the season even starts. Then I get to see words capitalized in the middle of the sentence and quotation marks that awww opened and don’t get closed. Thank goodness there’s so much great insight on these posts.
Thank you

You have to be good to be discussed in the the top 10 or considered a championship contender.

Honestly, if you can't be a fan and deal with the reality that is your team, perhaps you should consider jumping on the bandwagon of a more successful program.
Or, just go ahead and switch to soccer.

If yom think Texas and Ok are going to be the difference in Tenn being relevant in the SEC, you may not have noticed Ala, Ga, Fl, aTm, LSU, are pretty dominant teams. I wouldn’t worry about Texas and Ok until we can compete with the current teams. Be competitive with them and then worry about the newcomers.

I don't for one minute think Tennessee football will never be relevant again. These things go in cycles. Every team in the SEC has had their failures over extended periods of time. Yes, even mighty 'bama. The current administration seems to want to right the ship. Heupel is sort of an unknown quantity but does have experience as a head coach, and as someone else in another post said, has brought in a very good group of assistant coaches. I don't see Heupel micro managing everything like Butch and Pruitt, and I don't see AD White meddling in the program the way Fulmer probably was. I'm willing to give Heupel the chance to prove himself.

Tennessee has absolutely no choice but to live and die with JH.
