The fans need to show up and have a atmosphere like the 2015 OU game EVERY game. its on the fans just as much as the team. We also need around 8-9k more seats.

Of course!!!! How did we not see that it's the fans fault? We should've supported and financially rewarded the university better during the last 15 years of outstanding decisions and direction they've given the football program. They've only spent top dollar to get the most qualified coaches possible and have given those coaches every chance to succeed. Now that I think of it, more fan support would've put Dooley over the top of Saban and made Kiffin not accept USC's offer and could have possible made Jones not make promises to players that he couldn't keep.

Face it, we suck and it's not going to get better. Once Yexas and Oklahoma join the SEC, Tennessee will never compet for the top spot e in this league again. Like Mississippi and MSU and Arkansas and Vandy, we will be the doormats going forward.

But, they have had some good runs in the last decade. When State had Jackie Sherrill they thought they were dominant.

Arkansas was doing good before the bike wreck. Freeze and the boosters had Ole Miss running. Mullen and Prescott took State to the top five. Vandy was beating is like the little step brother and bowling every year.

Our turn will come around again. However, sustaining it like we did during the late 80’s and ‘90’s will be determinant on how low the other SEC teams get.

Please refer to the Tennessee Disaster Portal Loss which stands at 37 players today. Then Riley Locklear & Austin Pope are gone this week due to physical issues. Our first 4 that left were 5 star and 4 star players. The only show we will be on is “LEONARD’S LOSERS” if it comes back on the radio, lolol. Go Vols!!

Fans are way down the list of problems with this dumpster fire of a program. Let’s say you put 300k fans that give their all, do you legit think this team is going to play better? You think pruitt would have suddenly became a more competent coach, JG a better QB, Fulmer a better AD?

You have to win to be ranked high and compete for championships. Fans can be as hostile and electric as possible and it won’t matter if the team isn’t coached worth a damn. Hopefully Heupel is much better than what we’ve had in the past.
