I really care about Butch. I hope he goes to a different job so he won't be mad all the time.

Coaching kids can be frustrating. Tell them 1000 times not to block in the back and what do they do?

Make your face ref

I've noticed this stress issue for a couple of years now. In 2015 UF iirc, I remember talking to people watching @ how CBJ was ranting constantly and looked over his head in the pressure cooker. No way a person exhibiting that much emotional stress could be making solid strategic decisions in the course of a game.

I really want Butch to succeed, but this was the first thing that concerned me early on about him. All great ones (exc.Tom Landry maybe) go ballistic over things in big games from time to time. But they all relax and use their time to THINK and outsmart the opposition in the "chess match". The results of most of our big game "chess matches" haven't ended well.

Just an observation.

Bud Grant, (Vikings), had a mellow demeanor about him on the sideline. Bill Walsh was cool as a cuke too.

A guy at church asked me today....

Has God forsaken the VOLS?

I told him YES, as long as Butch is our coach!

I have this really strange feeling that we will beat their brains in Saturday

That would be another indictment of this coach. If this team could destroy Georgia yet struggles against poor teams, it shows a problem. See, they beat UGA and UF last year and it was frustrating all the more because they lost to Vandy ,USC, and A&M who all were bad teams. Truth is, Tennessee played maybe 2 good teams last year, and 2 this year if UGA is as advertised. It makes it frustrating to win games necessary to win the division and then make it meaningless by having letdown games. If they beat UGA, especially if it's a lopsided win (which I can't see at all), it shows incompetence in that he couldn't get a team capable of that to at least have UMass taken care of by the 4th.

Good point on fox sports KNox this am about how games like the last one are why UT hasn't had experienced players. They rarely beat teams by enough to put a lot of subs in. That's why he always has the "experience" card.

He has a skin condition that makes part of his face red. Good grief people.

Also, if Vols beat Georgia, it's an indictment on CBJ too? Come on man.

If he wins the NC, is it indictment of the failure of last year to win it? Fahr Butch!

Why Butch is always so upset and red in the face on the sidelines. He says he rarely sees Butch that he doesn't look like he is having a heart attack. Honestly, I never really thought too much about that.....Your Opinions?
(BTW...this guy is a UGA fan and he thinks the Dogs may come out flat and lose this game) GO VOLS!!!

Ever been a coach of a f0otball team? He does go ballistic, but in his defense, he coaches players all week, and when it gets to game day, they forget what they were coached to do. A lot of good coaches have gone ballistic. Pick something else to blame hi for.

UGA can come out and flat line and still beats this team.

Can UGA line up in a proper formation? That was all UF needed to do. And UMASS almost pulled it off with proper alignment as well.

At this point, we are not a difficult team to create and execute a game plan against.

Tell him if he spent more time reading the Bible he wouldn't have time to ask about football when he's in church.
