A goodbye to Nico

Hate to say this but kids a moron. The difference bwhween 2 and 4 million this year is nothing compared to the money he will make in nfl if he lived up to his hype and how much the connections here would pay off after his career.

He did this because this is his only shot at big money. just don’t think he pans out in the nfl. He wasn’t a freshman last year like people acted. He had played in the bowl game previous year and was practicing all that year. It was obvious in 24 the speed of the game was too much for him and he couldn’t put the ball in tight windows.
It's one thing to attempt to get a better deal, but his father shopping him around and skipping practice while doing it is an entirely different thing. He'll be an afterthought before the fall season starts, while getting ready to start his season at UNLV

I thought in the beginning they said that his NIL deal was four years regardless of where he went he was under contract with spire. So if he transferred out they could make all his contractual stuff in Knoxville for him to get paid. Or do we just walk away and keep the money?

He burned his bridge. He’s damaged goods now and can’t play In the sec this year anyways. Next man up !
I would bet he'll be playing for <1.5mil next year.
While he was still on the roster, other teams knew was making 2.... mil and their offers reflected it, now teams know he's not making anything, and their offers will reflect it.

You really think he did all this with no offers already on the table? No way. More will be revealed.

Probably so, but it wouldn't surprise me if he didn't. His family might think he's another Pat Mahomes and would get that money on the open market.

I’m disappointed in Nico, but more so with this father and family. TN gave Nico millions as the one of the first NIL recipients. TN caught slack for paying a high school kid $2 mil a year. We went to court last yr and help changed the landscape of NIL and college football which enable Nico to remain eligible.

And now he pulls this 💩 a wk prior to portal and day before spring game. TN is now scrambling with Nico receiving 1st team reps in offseason.

And I’m confident Nico has a deal in place. Not sure who but Oregon, UCLA, Texas tech and USC are possibilities.

It wouldn’t shock me if he ends up with a blueboood like Ohio State, wins the heisman and a natty. 😝.

I just hope our Vols have a great yr and so we don’t have to hear the “Nico crap.”
Highly doubt Oregon, lannings the one that told heupel about the loser shopping around out west

From a Florida Vlog. Submitted for your viewing pleasure. Nico has labeled himself as a problem child that the NFL will have second thoughts on a high draft pick. He has cost himself millions.

Some other desperate John of a program will throw some money at the whore….. let them …get screwed

I'll probably hate watch some of his games if I can stay up that late.

If he doesn’t develop into an elite QB (and he’s got a long way to go) he’ll be the poster boy for the NIL era. Given all the hype coming in, he was a big disappointment last year, especially given he had a full year to develop. Our defense kept us in most games last year. If we solely had to rely on Nico we would have lost at least a couple of more games.

I think he will end up just like Kiffin. Probably not as much of a fall as Kaepernick . But similar. He’s skilled but has major stank now. He will have to earn another chance at a top tier school. No way a playoff caliber team wants his poison. And he can’t show up this late and start at even a top 20 school. Won’t be prepped and for sure won’t be able to lead the team. Big mistake. He gon learn.
