A Good Story

It was a nice read, this is the kind of thing that makes college football superior to Pro ball. It's still so pure a man can see his deepest wish realized.

How awesome is that. I think I'll keep this and re-read it now and then, just to remind myself what Tennessee Football really is.

Shows you that there are still some players out there with the right attitude. Let's hope his next big event is getting in there for a play or two.

I played high school football in Alaska myself so I can assure you to be able to run through the T is indeed an out of this world honor to a kid from AK!

How do they pull that off in Alaska? Does the season start earlier? Do they play a lot of games indoors? Do you guys just suffer through the bitter cold? Those late November, December games have to be killers anywhere north of Anchorage (and probably around the coast, too).

back then We played from first of August through end of October. Our two a days were in July it really sucked cause you had no summer really. We played I think 10 games and then there was a 4 team playoff. Even the end of October games could get brutal and the championship game was always nasty. All games were outdoors, at Chugiak we had our own grass field but all the Anchorage games were on an artificial turf stadium. It was an experience to say the least!
